I decided to take a different approach to the stats today. Let me know if you like them!

8/30 Champ. League Chicago Storm FC 4-0 Mike FC
Heading into the third game of Season 3's Champions League, the Chicago Storm (2-0-0) took on Mike FC (0-0-2). Based on the records, it looks like the Storm will cruise to a comfortable win, but underdogs do win. The Storm come into this game with a +4 GD, and Mike FC are at a -6, and have yet to score a goal.
As the first half starts and finishes, neither side have a goal to show. 12 minutes into the second half, Fouhad Taubira finds the back of the net and gives the Storm a 1-0 advantage. Realizing these wouldn't be enough goals, Alan Leonard and Martín Rodríguez combine to score 3 goals from the 70 to the 78 minute mark. The Game would end 4-0, with the Chicago Storm FC on top. The games MOTM would be the Storm's defender, Tamás Garamvölgyi.
Scorers Fouhad Taubira (57') Alan Leonard (70', 78') Martín Rodríguez (75')
Assists Daniel Kofi Amo (70')

8/30 League mihai fcp 0-5 Chicago Storm FC
As the season is fresh, points are the best thing a manager could hope for. Points have been easier for the Chicago Storm FC to come by so far, as they are 3-1-0, and are in first place, heading into today's match against mihai fcp, who are 0-1-3 and in thirteenth. The Storm have a +13 GD while mihai fcp come into this game with a -9.
The Chicago Storm start this game off on the right foot, as Zivojin Maric scores a beautiful first time shot with his right foot, in under 10 minutes. Less than 20 minutes later, Rafal Romachow scores a screamer from a free kick in the 26th. Following a yellow card to mihai fcp and a corner, Karim Boutadjine heads in a Evghenie Grosu corner. On the stroke of half-time, Daniel Kofi Amo finds the netting, 0-4 Storm.
6 minutes into the second half, Zivojin Maric suffered a lower body injury and would be out of competition for 3 day, unless their manager uses reds which I heard he might do. Following the injury, the Storm's season 1 MVP but rarely used substitute Adi Warman replaces Maric. Martín Rodríguez would score the only goal of the second half in the 73rd. This game's MOTM was the Chicago Storm FC's striker, Zivojin Maric.
Scorers Zivojin Maric (8') Rafal Romachow (26') Karim Boutadjine (34') Daniel Kofi Amo (44') Martín Rodríguez (73')
Assists Matt Carseldine (8') Evghenie Grosu (34')

8/31 Cup soccer city 1-1 Chicago Storm FC
Trying to start off the Playoff Round of Season 3's Cup in the best way, the Chicago Storm FC head out to Kannur, India, to play the first leg. The Storm are the favorites to win the 2 game series, but soccer city has some good players who are capable of pulling out a win. The Storm will do everything they can to pull out a win, but if a draw or loss happens, a goal will help tremendously as the away goal rule could come into affect.
The game started this game almost exactly as the last, with Zivojin Maric netting the games first goal in under 10 minutes. The Chicago Storm weren't able to hold on to the lead for too long, as Pablo Alles would tie the game at 1 all in the 18th. Missed chances for both sides would leave the game at 1-1 going into the second half.
Just over 10 minutes into the half, Chicago Storm FC's central midfielder Fouhad Taubira picked up a yellow card, and second of the cup run, resulting in a red card for the second leg against soccer city. More time passed, and still no goal. Unfortunately, the Storm's manager was unable to attend this game, so he wasn't able to implement any new strategies that would help his team win. The game would finish in a 1-1 draw, leaving an exiting game in Chicago on the 2nd of September. After playing a superb game at defense, soccer city's defender Augostinho Datta walked away with this game's MOTM award.
Scorers Zivojin Maric (9') Pablo Alles (18')
Assists Matt Carseldine (9')

8/31 League Chicago Storm FC 9-0 fener bahҫe
Fener bahҫe will head to Chicago to take on the Chicago Storm FC with hopes of restoring their mediocre record. The Storm (4-1-0, +18 GD) face off against fener bahҫe (1-1-3, -2 GD) at the United Center. The Storm thus far have proven to be a title contending team, while fener bahҫe are struggling and are in in twelfth. On paper, the Storm have the clear advantage, and won't want to drop any points.
Every manager wants their team to have an explosive start, and that's exactly what the Chicago Storm FC's manger, Hawks, got. Just following the 10 minute mark, Rafal Romachow smashes a free kick off the post and into the back of the net to give the Storm an early advantage. Just 15 minutes later, Zivojin Maric would start the Storm's offensive onslaught by contributing towards 1 of the 4 goals in a quarter of a hour. Matt Carseldine scored twice and Martín Rodríguez were the other contributors. The Storm will go into the half leading with a comfortable 5 goal cushion. Both managers will have very opposite team talks during half.
Although the win was in sight for the Chicago Storm FC, manager Hawks wasn't satisfied yet as goal differential could come back to haunt you at the seasons end. Evghenie Grosu scored the first goal to start the half, and was followed soon after by Martín Rodríguez's second. Rafal Romachow scored his second of the night just one measly minute after Rodríguez scored his second. As the game was winding down, Fouhad Taubira decided it would be a good idea to add to his goal total, as he added the ninth and final goal of the 9-0 blowout in the 89th minute. Although there many candidates, the Chicago Storm FC's attacking midfielder Daniel Kofi Amo was presented with the MOTM award.
Scorers Rafal Romachow (11', 66') Zivojin Maric (24') Matt Carseldine (30', 39') Martín Rodríguez (37', 65') Evghenie Grosu (53') Fouhad Taubira (89')
Assists Daniel Kofi Amo (30') Zivojin Maric (39', 53') Matt Carseldine (66') Martín Rodríguez (89')
