Level 11 (season 11) League

I started this season with that team. The first day I bought 2 nordgen (the last two names of the list) which I renamed as the Brazilian legends Garincha, the all around AM and Ademir, the ST. Those new players had a very successful season, played mostly as back up.
In the middle of the season I bought another MC player who also had good games.


Garincha succeed the record of the season with 4 goals in a game


Finally I won the league with a 25-0-1


Unfortunately I lost by this team. Yes, from those promising players


Nordeus Gods said no in a 26-0-0 League, with this result, before the last day of the league.
My super scorer, Neymar, was shooting at the stars and after I made a sub of m MC, I got an injury in my other MC
and my excellent wingers without any oppo winger defenders, had no result.

Just a thought since your Greek. You should be using the long ball defensive pressure tactics that won Greece Euro 2004.Surely flair football is heresy for a Greek?

yes, I 'm from Greece but my team is Brazilian

Till today I had in my games avg score 3,7-0,7 so the game call me playing hard attack


Almost in all of my games I 'm starting with defensive mentality and counters

LV11 Champions League

It was a tough group. One weak team and three good teams.


Lost from that guy. Very good and active manager from a higher lv, who started from the beginning.


Finally I won him at home, so he stayed out of the knock out rounds


After that I reach the final


played in a difficult hour (for me) against a Mexican and won


The game ended in penalties where my players were more effective

Lv11 cup
This season, even if I didn't drop the quality lv of the team and having a draw in a 14lv Cup, the team was in a great form and didn't afraid teams from above levels.







Finally we went in the final undefeated and with great scores too


In the final, playing against a strongest team, using the correct formation (and always defending/counters/flanks) I scored first. Opponent set attacking mentality and I was just taking in advance my good wingers, with counter attacks from the flanks.
Oppo here, after loosing a player with red card, set 3 DC - Big mistake and great victory

Tribute
I won this treble but it was unexpected. In my plans was to go for the treble season 12 and the team was building that way. I kept my plan and after my finals I started selling my older players
(as you can see in that thread http://forum.topeleven.com/tutorials...season-12.html )
but I want to make a tribute to my old players . We have spent together 5-6 seasons, winning 2 trebles and many titles

Dante, great DC, a 18 y.o. nordgen, playing with the team 7 seasons



Dunga, all around MC player, a valuable sub, great when the team needed him (even if the sa I gave him wasn't very useful ). started as a 18 y.o. nordgen, 7 seasons
Alex, also a young nordgen 19 y.o., played for 6 seasons. I gave him DMC position and he was doing good job with good rates for this difficult position.
Denilson, a 18 y.o. nordgen, played for 7 seasons. An AMC/AMR who also played as AML, with a successful sa. Usually played as all around AM, sub to my main wingers.
Those three pals are still play together in their new team

Tribute part 2

Carlos Alberto, a nordgen 18 y.o. player, all around defender (I gave him an extra position). Very good and useful player as a sub with 3 positions when I didn't watch the game. Played for 4 seasons.



Branco, a scout/list player, bought 22 y.o., excellent in both positions and very steady player.



Junior, a nordgen who played for 4 seasons. Dominated in defense.


Dida, a nordgen GK I gave one-to-one. Played for 4 seasons as my only GK. Always in a good form, 1 injury every season, saved the team many times with his performances. Excellent in saving corners and penalties.

LV12 and after the new blood of the team, this is how it looks in the middle of the season




In the league, we r leading in the middle of the season, with a 13-0-0 and a very strong defense thanks to the new Brazilian stars
Nelinho, Leandro and Jorginho.


The Cup almost had an unpleasant surprise for us, against a team which played without any DC. I changed my usual formation (playing with my wingers) and focus from the center but it wasn't very effective against this voodoo formation.





In Champions League, when I saw the teams (and the groups) I said it's karma.
It was my friend Nicolas with his team Hiruma again.

We 've met sometimes in Cup and CH.L. but we never played against each other. We were friends last season but I "unfriended" him last day of the season because he has a strong team and didn't want him in the same league. (I like very much his team - it's scout list players, renamed ) .





So i said, this is possibly the season that we 'll meet in the final. We 'll see

It was an idea that stuck in my mind in the beginning of that season.
After winning the treble in previous season, playing in the Cup, 3 lvs above, I had so far (lv11)
11 league championships, 10 doubles and 3 trebles, so there weren't many challenges for me anymore.
So, this season I decided to go for the treble, with a 5* team.
My usual way of playing is to start with a 5* team and after training my players, to give their gaining skill points near the end of the season, before the semi-finals.
I have plenty of tokens & money to buy a couple of scout/list players and many boosters to power-train my fast trainers and add more to my earned sp, but let's see if a 5* team can win the treble
