I think that i did not logged since 5 seasons ago, too the Crystal palace was months abandoned.
This account is stuck at level 4 and the other at level 5, sdeems that now te game save some data of your team and that if you start again, you keep the name, level etc but starting with a new team....
I too anted to start from L1... but... no way. xD
