Foster hit a double yesterday in the Champions League to help Halifax into yet another final. The double also helped him pick up the MOM award.

He failed to do anything in the League game last night, however he did score twice in todays League game, again taking the MOM award as a result.

The season is over and Foster ends with 67 goals and 15 assists to his name. 19 MOM's too as Halifax won the league at a canter, although we did lose the final of the Champions League. Foster also wins the league top scorer award very comfortably too.

457 club goals and 193 assists to his name now. Around about a dozen games off breaking the most appearance record too, so that should hopefully go next season too.

A new season means one thing - power training Foster to the top of 9 star to the point he goes over to ten again.

Due to him going to 25 his training speed seems to have really slowed down and its taken a couple of hours and nearly 1000 green tokens to get him to the standard required. Its been a long day but he has finally got to where we wanted.

Sadly it looks like the Cup will be exited tomorrow, as yet again we are given a shark draw against a team several levels above us. Today saw a 2-0 defeat in a match that we were simply dominated by the opposition. There is very little hope of clawing anything back in the second leg, so its already a case of it being a case of making do with the league and Champions League.

With this in mind investment in the rest of the team isn't going to happen this season other than the training for Foster. We should be one of the front runners to challenge for the league, so with the cup all but over there is no point in training up further players to 7 star.

Its now a case of looking to see how kind or mean the league draw is late tomorrow night to see how this season pans out, but it could be one where goals are hard to come by.

Amazing scenes in the Cup today as Halifax shocked their much stronger opponent, with two late goals to win the second leg 4-1, having lost the first game 2-0.

It was Foster again who was the hero for the Shaymen, scoring after just ten mins to bring life into the tie. Halifax looked to be going out of the cup after they were pegged back to 2-1, as that made it 2-3 against on agg, with the opponent having the crucial away goal, but with just 10 mins to go Foster hit a quick double to make the agg score 4-3.

He did fail to pick up the MOM award due to his other strike partner assisting him in all 3 of Foster's goal and him netting the other, but overall a very good day not just for Foster but for Halifax too. Sadly the cup won't be viable for much longer as yet again the opponent in the next round is even harder, but its good to see a turnaround in the first tie.

A very solid day for Foster today sees him scored 7 times. He started the day with 4 in the Champions League, although somehow managed to not win the MOM award, then followed it up with a hat trick in the league, this time getting the MOM.

The league hasn't really been kind to Halifax this season and the Cup is even worse. It will be a shock if Halifax can get past the next round in the Cup. The league should see Halifax in the top 2/3, but its very competitive. The decision to not strengthen any other player other than Foster is going to remain. The only exception will be if a really good player comes up on scout/recommendation.

An amazing few days for Foster has seen him keep up his goal scoring streak - and amazingly kept Halifax in the Cup - with SEVEN goals over the two cup games in the last round. Amazing considering the fact that the opponent was vastly superior.

Just an assist to add to his name in the Champions League, but 6 more goals from the 3 League games too.

As of now Hayden Foster has played 326 times for Halifax. That is currently the record number of appearances for a player to date - set by Dawid Radzio - the player whom held all 4 of the major records (Goals, Assists, Appearances and Goals in a singe game).

When Foster next plays for Halifax (should be tomorrow unless something unexpected happens) he will become the record holder for all 4 of the major records - as he already holds the most goals in a game record, assist record and Goals record.

Assist wise Foster seems to have slowed down on that front in the past few seasons, but he currently sits on 195. It is hoped that some point during this season Foster will break the big 200.

At 25 years old there is still plenty of time for Foster to add to his records. Let's hope there is still plenty more to come.

A hattrick and an assist in the early Champions League game today to carry on Foster's early season form.

With this game played Foster is now the record appearance holder for Halifax with 327 games. He now holds all 4 of the major records available.

Plenty more seasons to go to improve these records now. Lets see what he can do.

The records now stand and look like this -

In todays league game Foster managed to get on the score sheet again after just 4 mins, however only managed to complete 33 mins of the game before he succumbed to injury. Back up to 2nd in the league now, with 3 of the harder teams to come in the next 4 days.

The only plus from the Foster injury is that he has been immediately healed after the game and has lost hardly any fitness from the 33 mins played, so will be on 99% fitness by the time he is next due to play in the Cup. Having Foster on full form and fitness for that could be key as we are up against a team 4 levels and +10 quality, so everyone will need to be at their best.

A fantastic hat trick by Foster in the second leg of the Cup secured Halifax's passage through to the next round, whilst a winning goal in the Champions League and 2 goals out of the last 3 league games has meant Foster's goal scoring has continued in the past few days.

The Champions League group is all but secure for Halifax so it looks like knockout football will come from that again. Staying in the Cup is always hard and we have already exceeded expectations in this years cup due to the hard draw. We will see how the next tie goes, but expectations aren't high. Top of the table by one point so far, having won 6 and drawn 2 of the 8 games this season. We do however have to play the two teams with higher Q than us, so its possible we could slip down again in the next few days.

A simply superb day, not just for Foster, but also for Halifax. In the Cup today, against a much harder opponent it was noticed that they were only playing with 3 defenders and narrowly, so the decision was to expose the flanks. The end result was that Foster managed to score FOUR times, whilst assisting a further two goals as Halifax someone chalked up a 7-0 win. I think that's the highest score that has ever been recorded by Halifax against a team that has at least 5Q more than us.

A double by Foster in the league against one of the better teams later on helped Halifax scrape to a 2-1 win to remain at the top of the table too. Both the Cup and the League game saw Foster pick up MOM awards for his troubles.

To top the day off two milestones have also been broken today. The two assists that Foster got in the cup has taken him to 200 for the club. The first goal in the League game later on took Foster to 500 league goals. He ends the day on 501.
