For the first time since joining FC Halifax Town Hayden Foster will be missing from the line up tomorrow, having picked up his second yellow of the season in the league.

Ignoring that down side, its been a very good day for Foster. He managed to score once and assist two in the league prior to getting himself suspended, but more importantly, FC Halifax Town amazingly are still in the Cup. Playing against a side much stronger than us, with 40 mins to go and 1-0 down (The first game ending in a 1-1 draw) Foster stole the show with two late goals, as eventually we ran out 3-1 winners. His two goals being the catalyst to push us through.

Still a low scoring season compared to his last few, which wont be helped with his suspension tomorrow, but he is still ticking by picking up goals and assists. Slowly but surely he is closing in on Dawid Razio's all time record for goals and assists, both of which he looks set to break next season at age 22 - giving him another 11/12 seasons to improve the records to be our all time great.

Due to the harder nature of the league this season (Every team is 5 star, no dead teams), with the CL and Cup equally packed with teams like this its been a lot harder for Foster to bang in the goals this season.

With that said however, with a week of the season left he has still managed to net an impressive 44 times already this season. That includes him just notching his 150th league goal.

Foster has been very important to FC Halifax Town in helping us scalp no fewer than 3 teams that have been TWO levels higher and of better quality than FC Halifax Town in the Cup - although with still being the weakest team left in the competition still it is still expected that our exit in that will come sooner rather than later. Oddly with a week to go we can still end up with a treble - although only the league at this moment in time looks a certainty.

Foster has been collecting yellows like they are going out of fashion however, currently having 5 of them to his name for the season and in a position that another yellow in any game will see him sit the next out in that competition - and he has already missed one league game this season too for two yellows.

230 goals to his name now, so he is 37 goals off equalling Dawid Razio's all time goal scoring record of 267. 38 needed to be clear of it. It is expected that Foster will break that record some point next season aged 22.

122 assists to his name now too, 20 off equalling Dawid Razio's all time assist record of 142. 21 needed to be clear of it and again it is expected that Foster will break that record some point in next season.

That will then give Foster another 12 seasons to make the records his own and for him to be set out way in the clear. One thing is for sure, as things stand Foster looks like being the pace setter and record holder for all time with FC Halifax Town. Only a massive downturn in goals and assists, or a forced/mistake sale looks set to stop him.

More impressively is that Radzio was the record holder for most appearances too - 326 FC Halifax Town games under his belt when he set the other records. To date Foster has only played 163 Town games and is closing in on Radzio's score/assist records. We hope that one day the record appearances stat will also fall to Foster too (Again, it should do, only a mistake in selling him would stop this I feel), but with 163 games still to go to equal that record, 164 to beat it, who knows what Foster's goals/assist amounts will be by the time that follows.

It is safe to assume he will be well clear as the best FC Halifax Town player by the time the appearances stat falls.

Congratulations to Hayden Foster, who today managed to hit the milestone of 100 League games for FC Halifax Town.

A very impressive 158 goals in those 100 games too, so a fantastic start to his time at the club.

Foster is now just 12 goals away from equalling Radzio's goal scoring record for the club. Just a couple of games left of this season to go, so it won't be broken this season, but he should hopefully smash that record in the first week of next season, aged 22.

Another season done and for the 4th time in a row Hayden Foster ends up the Leagues Top Goal Scorer, the Leagues Top Assist Maker and the Leagues Highest Average Rating Player across the season. Even more impressive is with how much ease he won these awards, having also missed a game due to suspension.

With the season over, Foster ends the season with 64 goals. Added to that is 25 assist and 19 MOM awards. Foster's efforts helped secure a fourth consecutive League and Champions League Double for FC Halifax Town, whilst for the first time in ages Halifax also had a run in the Cup, getting all the way to the final before being beaten. An amazing achievement as all opponents were better quality than Halifax and 6 of them were at least two levels better.

Foster will of course undergo power training tomorrow as a 22 yr old, pushed all the way to 1 point off 10 star as per usual. It is hoped that next season he will beat the FC Halifax goal scoring record, as he is only 7 off equalling it now, whilst its also possible/likely he will break the assist record too, currently being 15 off equalling it.

With 4 completed seasons Foster's major stats are as follows -

    Games - 176
    Goals - 260
    Assists - 127
    MOM - 81

It's been a busy morning today for Hayden Foster, having been brought in and fed Green Packs and Power Trained for a couple of hours.

It seems going from 21 to 22 yr old has seen Foster's training speed drastically reduce, as now he gains an average of between 8 and 10 experience per hard training game, so it was taking around 12 training games for him to get 1 cone - and obviously lots of Greens in-between.

As is always the case however, determination will come out on top, so we carried on with the Power training to get Foster up to high 9 star.

When that surplus cone is added Foster will go to 215 quality and as such be in to ten star quality status again. In putting his points into use it was decided to make him top heavy in attack, seeing as Foster's game is all about goal getting. Normally the club keeps the policy of having players equally good in all areas, but it was decided to mix it up a bit to see how things go for the season.

It took ages to put Foster back up to his ten star status due to his low training speed now, but he has looked to start to repay that with a two goal return in the first game of the season, helping FC Halifax to a 3-0 win against a side with 8Q better than us, with a two level advantage too.

The two goal return today also meant that Foster now has 100 Cup goals, across both the Cup and Champions League. Congratulations Hayden on that.

Now just 5 off equalling, 6 off breaking Dawid Radzio's all time goal scoring record for FC Halifax Town.

He's done it! Hayden Foster is a record breaker again for FC Halifax Town.

Having scored 4 times, with an additional assist (Amazingly not enough to win him the MOM award too) in the first league game of the season Hayden Foster moved to 269 goals for the club.

The record was at 267 prior to todays game, with Dawid Radzio the holder. Now the records look as follows -

At just 22 years old Foster now has a good 10+ seasons to really make this record unbreakable for FC Halifax Town. Whilst not overly bothered about assists at this point, it also looks quite likely that Radzio's record for them will also fall to Hayden Foster -and it is possible that it could happen by the end of this season, or in next season at the latest.

Foster has the world at his feet at the moment. Surely he will one day hold all the records for FC Halifax Town. Today he took the top scorer to add it to the most goals in a game.

With plenty more seasons to come from him, we look forward to see just how far he can go in a Halifax shirt. Well done Hayden.

Foster was in great form this morning, scoring twice in the Cup against a team two levels above us, who also had 6Q better on FC Halifax Town. Having lost the first leg away 3-2, a 2-1 Home win thanks to Foster's two goals will put Halifax through to the next round on away goals. Sadly, it gets harder for Halifax as the next opponent is even stronger, but for now we are still somehow still in the Cup. The exit will be expected soon however.

Having taken over as the clubs all time goal scorer at the start of this season, the next record Foster looks like breaking will be the assists. With that said, so far this season its been a low return on the assist front, with Foster only having made 3 so far. Some very difficult games coming up soon too, so it may be a while before that goes, but it should come soon.

To date, Foster has managed to get 17 goals so far this season, with 4 MOM awards. With the harder games to come in the next few days it will be interesting to see if he can keep himself in the goals and edge closer to that assist record.

For the time being however, the Foster legacy is still being written.

The run of hard games hasn't started well for Foster, he went down injured after 25 mins. A shirt tug causing him to be out for 5 weeks with a hamstring injury, grade 2. Not sure how such an injury can occur from a shirt tug, but it is what it is.

Foster was immediately rushed to the medical centre and fed 15 Reds. He wasn't able to contribute in the league match, but he will be back for tomorrows double header of league and Champions League games.

One of those games where it just felt that the game engine had set out to screw Foster. Lets hope he comes back stronger and doesn't suffer from the Nordeus loss of form and repeating injury problems that they like to throw in.

It looks like the game engine has decided that there is only one way to stop Hayden Foster this season - and that is to injure him. For the second time in 5 games Foster suffers a hamstring injury from a shirt pull. Thankfully this time, Foster had already played 78 mins and had managed to net twice prior to going off.

Yet again, an impressive display by Foster in the cup against a team two leagues above Halifax. It was expected that Halifax would bow out of the Cup here as the other team has a much greater overall quality, but after seeing the opposition was playing with 3 CM's, the decision to attack the flanks paid off. Another fantastic MOM performance by Foster to nudge Halifax into a 3-0 first leg lead. Avoid a trolling in the return leg and they will be the second team two leagues above us dispatched in the cup this season, with Foster hitting goals against both.

Just like the other day Foster was quickly rushed to the medical centre and given another 15 reds to make him available for the league game later on.

Foster then had a quiet game in the league against one of the stronger teams, but still managed to get on the score sheet once, to help keep his goals ticking over for the season. Not a bad start to the season really, even more so considering that the game engine appears to be wanting to cripple him.
