What are gradients anyway?

I got suckered into making things prettier with my submission [Page 10, #93]. I gradiated the colors for the first two entries as they are one color. You can see the effect of getting lighter and darker.

And, before this thing is over, I'll probably make a row of emblems of different color combinations, too.
