Heavy injuries despite Buildings

The formation I've already dealt with, I played a similar formation once and fixed the possession problem by repositioning both my wide DMs, see how that works out for you, maybe they can play wide midfield or DMC? About your GK and the assist, I have no idea. Do you have screenshots?

This formation was just an emergency formation: all my other MC were injuried. Normally I play with no DML and DMR but with 3 MC
Today I lost a game against a Player 1 League lower than mine, 5 rating points lower and he just had 20% possession ( I tried to test my new Scout player) WHY?

Playing with 1 MC has no baring on possession in the case above.

Last season I played over twenty games with either 1 MC or none at all. take a look at my sig, possession IMO is defined by: watching the match, player quality against opposition and passing type with a formation that dominates MF, as such it creates chances for the striker and also stops runs from MF against your defense.

The formation I used above was.

Its all about out numbering your opponent in MF, forcing him to play long balls, which create possession loss.
Even against 3MC's that formation played with the correct orders and a couple of arrows will dominate the MF.

Take 4-3-3 as an example, why does the V formation work well:
1. 5 MF players against 3.
2. Opponents MF is blocked so has to play from the back with long balls.

4-4-2 against butterfly, 4-4-2 relies on flank play suppling the strikers and is weak through the centre, it has three rows of players get in between those rows and block the flanks you will again force him to play long to create chances again giving away possession.

Of course in the game other factors play apart, but by watching the game having a full stadium should give you a head start with circa 12% less any away add ons.

Even against 4-5-1, outnumber the MF you win possession %.

All the above is based on playing this game, and in general against opposition from the same level and always with a decent win bonus, which progressively gets higher as the two cup comps progress. league stays around the same 2nd-3rd option.

A perfect example was my CL victory last season, post 399.

So today the Goalkeeper Best Player /assist issue is gone. Good.
I have offensive arrows on MCs AML AMR and St and defensive arrows on all the others!
I only had so few possession in this match in most other matches I have about 60-80%
