    Day 11/12

LEAGUE: Round 9. FC MANCHESTER (83.7) v LONDON CITY (85.7)

    Result: MANCHESTER 1-0 LONDON
    Goals: Balbuena 34
    M.o.M: Luis Valente (Manchester)

We were disappointed to lose in our first ever match against the team that were our first ever "friend" in the game, 13 seasons ago. We made the short trip to the north of England for this local derby. Pablo Balbuena scored the only goal just after the half hour mark. We plugged away, but just couldn't find an equaliser. Tomorrow we play against our deadly foes, Pto Alcudia. Despite the difference between us in the league, we are nervous over the game.

CITY: Miklosko, Jones, Fiksdal, Whyte, Watts, Andersson, Santos, Duggan (Hori), Daniels, Wilkinson, Dixon.

LEAGUE: Round 10. LONDON CITY (85.7) v PTO ALCUDIA (82.6)

    Result: LONDON 3-0 ALCUDIA
    Goals: Dixon 57, Andersson 58, Daniels 85
    M.o.M: Jonathan Watts

At the break in this match, it looked as though our bogie team was once again about to deny us a win, for the sixth time in a row against them. But we suddenly broke free of the shackles and a three goal blast in the second half, finally gave us a comfortable victory (at last). Two goals in a minute, ten minutes after the restart, got us on our way. The first was a tap in for Wayne Dixon after a through ball from Jacob Wilkinson. Within seconds, substitute Homer Simpson had supplied the cross for Stig Andersson to volley home. The sense of relief was obvious, and the team played some great attacking football for the rest of the match. Five minutes from time, Jack Daniels made himself some space, to rifle home our third, to compound the victory and improve our low goal difference.

Tomorrow we travel to Lithuania to play bottom team, Luigi FC.

CITY: Miklosko, Jones, Fiksdal, Whyte, Watts, Andersson, Santos, Duggan (Simpson), Daniels, Wilkinson, Dixon.

We won 2-1 playing home, with another magistral performance. Depite less shoots on goal, the match was in our hands from 1st to last minute, and we could of have scored at least 3-4 more. Of course in the only flection moment of the match, when the pressure bar was equal, Kaiserslauten scored from a corner kick. Apart from that, their shoots never came once from a reported action.

We are satisfied with the result despite the fact that, like alwais, the away goal taken means we'll have the usual hell of a second leg, but we're used to this with our Germanic opponents.

PLUS:FC Koln and their Q63 lost 3-2 away against a Q51 opponent. We're sure the second leg will be no problem, but still...it's legit to dream.

    Balkan Boyz - Matchday 12 (Sz.7 - lvl7)

HEADLINE: Balkan Boyz keep on playing, despite threat of regulation

Balkan Boyz continued their long-term friendly training sessions, despite threat of disciplinary regulation in the league and a possible elimination from the Champions League in the knock-out stage. The team from the Western Balkans has as shown, a tight and hectic schedule with 4 to 5 friendlies and 1 to 2 competition games, day in - day out. According to the assistant coach Vladimir Petković, the schedule is set up in accordance to increase players training and development competency.

The Balkan Boyz manager -Ljepoje- defended his earlier decision about tanking the season and claims that "it was a right decision at the right time, with the existing and various circumstances taken into account". Manager -Ljepoje- emphasized that he was "looking forward to the new season with increased competition from the lower level, with new challenges and brand new faces".

Balkan Boyz will play "Gitano FC" from Germany in the 6th and last round of the groupstage in the Champios League. The 1th meeting ended in a 2-2 draw, and a win tomorrow could put the Balkan Boyz at the top of group G, making them group G winners. A loss or draw would result in a 2nd place and make them face the winner from group H, "FC Uppercutz" from Turkey. The Turkish opposition "FC Uppercutz" is as well know, a potential candidate to win the CL trophy this season.

Baumann has left the club for £33M and been replaced by Da Cunha for £51M

Baumann was disappointed but heading towards the latter years of his career he can understand the clubs decision to be replaced by the younger man.
