a lot of time is passed from my previous update about A.C. Ianna... well the team isn't in good shape...mostly coz his manager stopped to follow the matches. But, since the 10th season of the team history is come to the end (for the first time high chances to fail a CL qualification), I thought to share the formation of the decade... tribute to all our players that honoured the jersey with the heart.
    Enjoy

Just could be 2 managers fighting it out to improve their squad for a league title/cl places push and/or to add to the squad for the current champions league campaign.

We are playing Barizta FC in the final of the champions league who are a Thai team they have been beaten twice on route and their manager seems quite astute with his formations as he always seems to change them for each match but he is currently set up for 4-4-2 and he has a DC suspended for the final his q82.7 and he has 3 scouts

    CHAMPIONS LEAGUE - SEMI-FINAL, 2ND LEG

    July Fourth 5-0 Zekspor FC

July Fourth win 7-0 on aggregate
    July Fourth 125.3 aeroplane 1st half, 3N-4-1-2 2nd half - Zekspor 119.2 5-4-1

It's been a while since we played a formation with a back 5 and also it was a bizarre choice by our opponent manager despite trailing 2-0 from the first leg and it seem to work for our opponent for 3/4's of the game, we were barely hanging on to our lead as they seem to kept getting all the attacks, They had a free-kick on 24 minutes which was saved by Knight and it went to the double corner scenario but thankfully for us Zek put it wide in what would of put them back in the tie. de Oliveira and Daminuta had long range efforts blocked and Hogan was forced to clear another corner. Shots came in from Wie and Mekeongo and even Michu was back doing defending at this point and it was 0-0 @ HT.

The second half continued with Zekspor on the front foot... Daminuta got past the last defender and Knight closed him down to force a corner and from it Zek's header went just over the bar. It could of easily been 2-0 to Zekspor on the night at this point... Then Stuart came on and first of all he fouled Kim (Zekspor's best player) and Kim has injured and the game changed, basically the NGE Troll struck our opponents here when they were on top in this game... Nothing came from the free-kick and Zek fired another shot wide. We took the lead from a corner with a Childs diving header and minutes later we buried the tie a Beckett pass found O'Sullivan to bury it and a minute later Miku scored from 25 meters, Miku got a brace from 20 meters for 4-0 on 87 minutes and just when you thought that wasn't enough we won a last minute corner and Stuart crossed that in for Pietropaolo to get his head on it for 5-0 in the 90th minute.

    Goals: Childs (75) O'Sullivan (77) Miku (78,87) Pietropaolo (90) MOTM: Pietropaolo.

Team Talk: Well... We were delighted to see this one through in the end in style but the 7-0 aggregate scoreline does not reflect in reality what went on in this Semi-Final. Zekspor are quite a good team. Until that injury for Zekspor they still had a fighting chance in this tie and perhaps could of scored a goal or 2.

July Fourth have reached a club record 8th consecutive Champions League Final and will play against "Ilknur ve Ozgur" in an attempt to defend our title and possibly win another double. It will be our 17th Champions League Final in total.

    Champions League semi-final, 2nd leg

    Perfect Tactics (4) 7-0 Hatay Spor (1)

Perfect Tactics: 66.1, butterfly | Hatay Spor: 58.1, 4-4-2 classic

Perfect Tactics win 11-1 on aggregate.

Easy win here, it looked like a no contest after the first leg. We rested all of the players on a yellow card and gave a debut for San Fransisco in defence and got a goal. There were goals from Petersen and Pistov while Silly picked one up and Van der Zande scored a nice solo goal. We're in the final after being absent for one season. This is what matters now... The final of the CL.

    Goals: Petersen (18', 43'), Van der Zande (22'), Silly (23'), Francisco (28'), Pistov (50', 56')
    MOTM: Van der Zande

And here are our opponents in the final....

    Pre match odds:
    To lift the trophy:
    Perfect Tactics: 8/11
    Extacy FC: 11/10

I hate playing against this formation!

What is suggested that I use? I would say butterfly but I haven't tried it out against this formation before, it could work against me.
    A) Butterfly
    B) 3N-2W(DML/DMR)-2N-1-2
    C) 3N-2W(DML/DMR)-3N-2 (last resort, it means playing Petersen OOP)
    D) Other

A late, late show from July Fourth but they are there to defend their title which is the main thing!

Other than the poor result, we heavily squashed them in the second leg, this time without risking anything. Guess that day was just a bad day after all. None apart Flanagan scored higher than 7, how pretty. funnily enough, Alex FC joined the fray and cheered for them. Guess sucks to spend 5 grands a season and get nothing on two teams, deh-eh.

For the third straight season, another though final awaits us:

It seems we're bound to suffer every season
