"A long time ago" might be yesterdays news to experienced players. This post is mainly written to new players as there are so many new posts filled with anger and frustration over questionable results. And I belive that is what forum is all about, sharing experiences and hopfully help Nordeus be part of the discussion and develop the game.Originally Posted by Morgan O'Bree

Playmaker and dribbler are useful SAs for the most part, but just because you cant see tangible results like a corner or freekick, doesnt mean that its useless.
Waste some cash on Tokens?!? I want what you have been smoking. I would tell new players the exact opposite - dont waste your cash buying tokens because once you do, you will feel obligated to continue buying tokens for the upkeep of your team because you dont want your money to be wasted, OR, you will get sucked into the token trap of Nor-de-ass, where they cause injuries and allow unwanted friendlies and schedule games close together so you will waste tokens and waste money.
I am all for freedom of speech, but I disagree with people giving out ****ty advice - advice that contradicts many of the posts here.
I dont give new players fals information. I give new players part of my 17 seasons of experiences. And if my 17 seasons isnt worth mentioning all this is false.

You ARE giving people false information. I dont care if you had 40 seasons under your belt, when you start giving out information like it was from the bible, then I have to say something. Lets go through this:
Opinion. I have seen too many teams win with illegal formations, and believe me, some of them are pretty strong. But it is typically a good thing to always play a legal formation.
Opinion. I need your definition of "balanced" as it is quite a relative term. Some like defensive formations like 4-1-4-1 since it is hard to break down, others like 3-6-1 butterfly, or 4-4-2 Narrow diamond for attack. Others will go 4-4-2 classic as it is "balanced" but it all depends on your mentality and objectives in the game. There may be no perfect formation, but there are clearly ones that are far better than the rest.
Nothing pi$$ed me off more than this. I explained why in an earlier post in this thread...no need to rinse and repeat.
Please enlighten me on how to do this gracefully. Should I just blackmail them? Beat the pulp out of them so they support me?
And of course, the other reason for my attention to this thread:
Freekick, corner, 1v1 scorer, shadow striker, aerial defence and defensive wall are all useful or very usefull depending on your experiences. I am sure 1v1 stopper is useful as I would rather have it on my GK than not have it, just in case it is useful.
BUT penalty stopper, penalty specialist, dribbler and playmaker are useless? Because one player posts a thread that completely justifies you posting this opinion, does not mean that it applies to every managers experience in this game. I would bet my life that there are managers that have won trophies in penalties because their GK with penalty SA stopped a penalty or two, OR, their penalty specialists came through for them and won the trophy because they scored when others didnt.
At the end of the day, I would rather have players with SAs, regardless of the usefulness or not, rather than the same player without the SA......cuz you just never know.
"Mother" Nor-de-ass does not share to us all. She gives mostly to those who buy/farm tokens and stack their teams. I do see players winning 2 or 3 trophies EVERY season. It DOES happen.
What you are saying is to not get greedy because you cant win it all? Every start of the season, I get greedy and try to win it all. EVERY SEASON. EVERY. SEASON. What you should be saying is: "Dont get upset when you dont win every trophy every season, because sometimes the NGE just doesnt want you to win. At which point, you come to this forum and post a LOL thread that the game sucks and people are cheating and you are going to stop buying tokens."
And no, I dont work for Nordeus. I am just that good.

I thought you didnt care if I had 40 seasons under my belt.It is rather simple actually, 1) choose a lot of friends, the important thing is to find friends that support their own team. 2) when you find friends that is supporting during matches you just support them - and beleive me they will support your team to. Yuo¨¨ou never know when and there are no garantees - but statisticly the more friends you have and support - the greater are the chances that they support you -

To win you have to have a great team with good players - and to have good players there is only two ways what I know about: "Tank" or buy tockens. I know it may not be sportsman like to buy your players but if you like winning trophys - its the way to do it. I dont understand whats false info about that?
I gave you my formula to win trophys in "Rules of success", I am sure people gladly listen to other peoples furmula to.

Forum is about sharing experiences and opinions. You may choose to ignore or listen to opinion. And obiously you ignore it.
When I stated "waste some cash on tockens and make mother Nordeus happy" I was sarcastic. I give advice from my experiences winning it all. As I mentioned there are a lot of frustration around here when players invest a lot and still loose to less skillfull teams. And my opinion is that you win some and you loose some no matter how good your team is. I dont know if it is a ****ty opinion. What I do know that is my opinion.
IMO you are trying to hard to be july forth lol. Let me give you some advice on this forum, seeing as your are a "noob" here......
Regardless of how many help threads you create, how well you label them (i.e the topic header), people will sign up to this forum to ask questions that have already been covered countless times. It seems to most that it is easier to start a new topic than to use the search facility. Your best option, imo is to answer any of these queries as they come up but I guarantee there will be a point when you get bored of covering the same questions time and time again.
Its like groundhog day, except it lasts 28 days
