at round 50 i decided to withdraw, but being pissed about these idiot, i decided to spend 15 tokens more just to add more price and let him spend more money. Since he started bidding immediatly after i did, i started overbidding him on round 55 or so. I had 10 tokens left at round 64, so i overbidded 10 times him. He completely lost it and spent the remaining 20 seconds of round 56 bidding every 0,5 seconds.
Price for the player was about 50m on my last bid, LOL!
He had 149M during auction, now -1m XD

Notice the low wage of the player, which i realized was last season's one learned the SA. If i realized sooner, i wouldn't have even bidded, won't be a fast trainer.

I could potentially get a whole team of semi-fast trainers this way. That is if you have money lolz. I am -$103M in debt right now. Gonna sell these players for some profit.
So a 35T season team could be achieved in this way. Note that I just bid once on all these players and went to sleep.
Thats why sometimes its not a bad strategy on some servers to lay out early tokens on a player and if nobody bids you win the player, you can sometimes get away on my server doing this as well, I've often seen some 5* players that are on the transfer list go unsold because no-one bid.Quote:

Your old player Julian Ross is on there... I feel you will need to copy Ljepoje and tank 2 consecutive seasons to get a much better transfer market and improve your team. I have 2 L4 accounts that were on either your server or Ljepoje's server and it took 2 seasons to tank before the transfer market improved but there was still some bidding wars around. Of course those teams still are in tank mode due to having no T and also I just use them for punchbag friendlies.Quote:

We still haven't got into the full swing of things this season. I have no idea what is going on but it's eerily similar to the form we had 2 seasons ago. We should have hammered this team into submission but we didn't and it looks like it's going to be a long season ahead of us with poor results like these. The weird thing is... All our players got 7 and 8 (which means we're doing something right...) but we couldn't make the most of these easy games. Against tougher opposition, we could have lost.
A 0-4 score line doesn't reflect the quality between the two teams, Perfect Tactics were poor today. Petersen Jr got us off the mark in what was a very dull first half hour, Petersen squaring to his counterpart and Petersen Jr finished off the move. Petersen then set up Vittalone from a corner for 0-2. Then we just couldn't score for almost 50 minutes, their 3* defenders were playing like a 9* defender... We did make changes and an asymmetric 3-5-2v proved to be the winning formula. Nascimento with a long range strike making it 0-3 which we really needed. Substitute Shlimazl came on and scored the final goal late on in the match to make it 0-4, but really... we expected more today.

So it looks like Petersen Jr is settling in very well.

We finally managed to lose in the league on illegal formation. 0-6 defeat against our same opponent in cup which se trashed 3-0 with legal and tired out display. :D
Petersen vs Papaleo is always an interesting battle... BUT the 2 players should not be looked as good rivals but as good players in their own right. At July Fourth, I have managed to maintain the 1 year age gap between the 2 players with Papaleo still being 1 year older than Petersen. Zidane if I had signed another would of been 1 year older than Papaleo and 2 years older than Petersen. Who knows in 2 seasons time a "Zidane" like player appears from Mr.Scout and the true age gap is maintained.Quote:

Looks like my league opponent today has only one thing on his mind and that is to park the bus and play asymmetrical 4-1-4-1... It's the asymmetrical aspect of this formation that can cause an upset result, so either 2 things are going to happen here... We will either win easily and convincing like 6-0 or it will be like a struggle to win like 2-1 or something or even a stupid draw.

Superb performance from AEPRE FC today, especially Callum McManaman who created so many chances and scored a goal and an assist to Fernando Torres. Torres also scores a hat-trick and an assist. AEPRE FC seems to be getting back to back penalties at 62' and 67', where Francesco Marin fouls Torres, and later Papaleo. Chano Petersen convert the first one wide, but he got another chance and puts it into the back of the net.
