As you can see, we tried one of the egyptian-hebrew formations today - but it didn't go that well. We played "ok" in the 1th half, creating a couple of chances before "Elke FC" overtook the commando in the 2nd half. My players seemd way to tired and exhausted to give a rat's ass about the result, and continued to lay around the grass and chilled. Semirinho Jr made a nice drawing - picturing himself on the top of the mountain and singing "Figaro! Figaro! Figaro!" (Largo al factotum).

We will play "SV Grunbichl" tomorrow, wonder which formation I could use, any advices?

That could be a little "risky" since the upcoming opposition are a pretty weak one. Believe I will use the same formation and swap them around now and then. Need to "secure" a couple of losses before I put them on auto-pilot.

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUP C ROUND 1

    July Fourth 5-1 Sadadjang FC

    July Fourth 128.9 3N-6-1 V - Sadadjang FC 121.1 4-1-3N-2

We took a while to get going in this one and Sadadjang were creating the first few early chances. Firstly Farouk firing wide and Shariari free-kick was saved from Knight, they then hit the target after a corner for Lazarov to header Sadadjang into the lead, It didn't last long as a new look July Fourth found their way into the game with a 20 meter shot blocked by Jepsen, but a minute later Miku tried again from distance to get on the scoresheet, 4 minutes later and July Fourth were into the lead when Petersen picked off Watson to score affter hitting the post, Calavicci made an important challenge to keep us infront at HT, The second half begun and After a few good plays from Sadadjang with Knight making a couple of good saves. Miku again fired us 3-1 into the lead, afterwards we won a free-kick and Petersen struck it over the wall and into the back of the net for his first July Fourth goal... We were not finished there as Petersen found Calavicci to struck a half volley into the empty net... Calavicci continued to win a few sliding challenges in defence and the the new Papaleo recieved the ball in the Sadadjang danger area but Jepsen got it away, In the closing stages Nganbe Nganbe gave away a daft free-kick, Petersen got it on target again but Lara in goal got the finger tips on it to save it.

    Goals: Lazarov (25) Miku (33,59) Watson (37) Petersen (67) Calavicci (76) MOTM: Petersen - 1pt

Team Talk: A perfect way for July Fourth to get our Champions League campaign underway with firing a few new players straight into the action as soon we are due to complete our power training programme for the season before we face Batigo United in tomorrows big league game. Chano Petersen was terrific this evening in his first full July Fourth start.

    Manager Points
    Petersen 3,Miku 2,Calavicci 1

    Standings
    Beckett 4,Petersen 4,Malik 3,Ramirez 3,Watson 3,Knight 2,Pietropaolo 2,Calavicci 2,Miku 2,Papaleo 1.

Well he has only played one full game for the club and there is still a lot for him to do to please the selectors, O'Sullivan could lose his place in the team and that would be unthinkable considering the form O'Sullivan was in towards the end of last season.
