I would not buy this kind of players, but for 1 token YES!

Its nice to be a bargain hunter at times and you need to avoid trying getting involved in some unwanted bidding wars, but you could miss out on 1 or 2 players like I did before, could of had defender 1 token if I made bid but I didn't. and 2 players I looked at had bids but ended up at ko round 2 or ko round 3.

still got young 3 players for low number of tokens.

I got last season 4,5 players from transfer list with less then 15 tokens all close to 6 stars.

Yes, but the eventual winner might be willing to bring it to many many rounds, you might be better off not bidding on them as well. Most of my deals are made with only 1 token, or stealing at the last second in the first ko round.

Thats what strategy I was using around the last hour or so to preserve tokens. Most of the players I'm signing are mainly back-ups.
