    how does a 4-1-3-2 win vs 4-4-2?

I should mention that both teams are near the same total quality (but the 4-4-2 has better defenders).
In the 5th minute the 4-1-3-2 (no wingers) team lost their attacker to injury.

4-4-2 attacked through wings but got outshot 9-15. Only had 3 of 9 shots hit the target.
4-4-2 lost 0-1 at home. Both have good morale and no win bonus

I always thought that a team stacked up in midfield would lose against a team attacking through the unmarked flanks...but apparently not. Great job nordeus. I see you keep trying to lose customers

jose mourinho fave tactic is to play without wingers and he always win 1-0 if not 2-0 at best. guess this apply in T11 too.

Depends on arrows too. If the 4-4-2 used reds only in mr/ml while the 4-1-3-2 used reds on dl/dr that makes the 4-4-2 overnumbered at midfield by 4-5. Red arrowed dr/dl become dml/dmr on offensive, thus resulting in a 2w-3n midfield vs 4.
