Does anyone know of a similar online game to T11 that has devs who actually run the game properly and listen to their customers and generally know what they are doing?
I love playing these games but the people running T11 are an absolute joke and I've just about had enough of them.
Try soccermanager .. but its not as beautiful as T11 ..
None of them are good, except for football manager but they have a different strategy obviously with up-front cost and nothing after that.. I haven't tried FM on a mobile phone, it's around 7 Euros I think, i would be interested in what people thought of that version of the game..

Hattrick is okay, but the game engine is rather one-dimensional. And it is really a game for the long haul (for literally the first year you will be floundering around trying to set up your team properly).
I think it is hard to find a game online where the creators aren't ****s, in some form or another, who ignore the wishes of their customers. The one instance where I found a game where the owner wasn't a ****(in my admittedly limited onling gaming experience) he did change the game per the wishes of a large group of players. What happenend is he diminished the game for a small select group of regulars, to suit what was essentially a lot of part time players. The big player regs' left, the part timers quickly got bored, and the game languished in mediocrity until its demise.

I've bought FM 2013 handheld, for 9 euro's. It's ok, but I'm not wild about it, so far. But that may be because my team is very inconsistent... :) I've also played OSM (Online Soccer Manager), but it has the oddity that after one season you have to pick a new team, so you can't build and grow players; it's more about gathering manager points.
I've tried most other offerings out there. But they fail in different areas. As does T11. I wish they would up their game a little/a lot! Make it more detailed, stuff like individual orders for players, a much better market, allow messaging between friends, maybe add in a simple live game engine ... then it would rock! For now though, it's still the best 'free' manager game out there. It'll cost you to really go far in it, and I would rather an upfront general fee to make it fair for all. But, in this day and age, in-app is how it is.
I have been tempted to buy FM for the ipad/iphone, but couldn't see it being near as detailed. I will be buying FM 14 for the PC, I skipped on it last year.

I have played literally dozens of MMRPGS in my time and have seen several take a significant turn for the worse when the devs made a change that 'everybody' asked for.
But surely the 'everyone' that you describe is the people that Nordeus should be listening to since they are clearly so into the game that they go to the bother of being on the forum and to actually complain about things. Surely a business should listen to it's most loyal and dedicated customers?Quote:

Well yes... and no. If by 'listening' you mean keep their finger on the pulse about their customers' opinion on various issues and taking that into account when making decisions, then yes absolutely, that is a thing that successful companies should be doing. If by 'listening' you mean implementing any change that the majority of the people who shout the loudest seem to think is a good idea, then no, absolutely not.Quote:

Woah wait a sec, I don't agree with that. I think the injury level is pretty realistic as it is. In fact, you would probably have to increase injuries in some regards to make it genuinely realistic. You may not agree with this, you don't have to, it's a moot point. The fact is that the assertion that 'everyone agrees' on certain things is often a complete myth. Lots of people complain about injuries. Some other people have said that they think injuries are fine as they are. These people tend to get shouted down and ridiculed when they speak up, which makes them less inclined to speak up and gives the illusion of some kind of 'consensus' when none exists. Maybe there are people out there that like the friendly system as it is. Or maybe there aren't. I certainly wouldn't pretend to speak for everybody when I express my dislike of it, only myself.Quote:

ya get the point? they dont listen unless the idea makes them money. Polls are good for us to see how the game is affecting others, but there are never more than 20-30 people that take the poll (lol, read that again!) so its falling on deaf ears.
