Champions League Group D Round 5

Man U FC 1-5 July Fourth

    Man U FC 128.9 4-1-3N-2 - July Fourth 142.9 3-5-2 V

Sometimes you do not know how lucky of a club we really are... Especially when you have talented individuals like Papaleo who certainly does know how to score goals especially 3 minutes into the game July Fourth took the lead after Papaleo used pace to beat defenders and slot it past the keeper, It should of been a hatrick before HT fortunately for them their GK was in a bit of form, They did however win a penalty when Senna made a foul but Knight once again produced a save to keep us infront, However Mohd Isa found a way to give Man U an equaliser but it wasn't too long before we got back into the lead at the beginning of the second half with O'Light setting up Miku-Zidane who simply could not miss, Papaleo was on the scoresheet once again for July Fourth with another solo move that made everyone stand up after blasting it past the keeper, There was an injury for Senna and Petersen made them pay from the free-kick after Watson got his head onto it to score, and 5 minutes after that Watson scored again after Miku-Zidane played him through onside and Watson knew where to put it to score.

    Goals: Papaleo (3,57) Mohd Isa (42) Miku-Zidane (51) Watson (65,70) MOTM: Papaleo.
    Missed Pen: Luchini (38)

Team Talk: Excellent Performance in this "dead rubber" match and we had nothing to worry about here, It was a chance to play some free flow football tonight. Shame about the injury.

At last, something to cheer about. We went into our Champions League away match in Thailand with some trepidation. Our opponents had already beaten us at our place in the opening game, but had not won since. We started the match just 1 point ahead of 3rd place. A win and we would qualify for the knock-out stages. Jacob Wilkinson produced two excellent passes for Wayne Dixon to give us a healthy lead on 20 & 38 minutes. As the match entered stoppage time at the end of the half, Ronan Kelly burst through and fired our third. The second half was a midfield battle and it wasn't until the end that late substitute Homer Simpson added our final goal. It's just a pity that the goal won't show up in his stats, because the substitution was so late. Dixon picked up a yellow card towards the end, while defender Mads Fiksdal was made man of the match?

GOAL STATS: Dixon 20, Dixon 38, Kelly 45, Simpson 87

We started the day playing in the league against what it seems to be our tough oponent in this season, we had same points, i had the advantage in GD and GS.
He plays 41212 wide diamond i whent with my normal 442. The game starts both managers are present, and the possession bar is bouncing as i Never seen before. he scores from a double corner i got the equalizer, but he manage to score another one, and the history is made, 2nd half was boring, with lot of misses from both sides.
First lost in the league this season, but still second.

In CL i was playing with the first in the group, since i was not expecting nothing from this game, i just put all my subs and reserves in the pitch. Both managers presents more possession, similar shots on goal and end up losing 3:0.
What can i say, it is just one of those days, with a lot of players playing bad and having bad ratings.
I am still second in the group with 5 points, 1 more then the 3rd, final match it is between our teams, so the team who wins, go to the last 16.

    League, round 9

    Yonutz FC 0-6 Perfect Tactics

    Yonutz FC: 74.4, 4-3N-3 | Perfect Tactics: 83.4, 4-3N-2W-1

In a game that we expected to struggle in, we absolutely killed our opponents. Mitza FC lost earlier so the win puts us 6 points clear at the top of the league. The first half was totally one-sided and Nascimento put us up in the 4th minute of the game and continuing his amazing scoring run. Suparman then made it 0-2 from a free kick. Shlimazl then added to the score sheet with 2 quick goals, both from 1 vs 1 positions. We then continued to punish our opponents and Nascimento got a 2nd, heading in Suparman's free kick for a 5 goal lead. The 2nd half was surprisingly quieter and the only goal of the half seemed to kill the game. A quick break from Nascimento lead to a Shlimazl hat trick and that was one of the easiest 3 points we gained, despite our opponents being a tough cookie.

    Goals: Nascimento (4', 39'), Suparman (14'), Shlimazl (23', 27', 49' HAT)
    MOTM: Shlimazl

    In other news..

    FC Mancos 0-2 Perfect Tactics

In a game where we gave Petersen a chance to score, it brought quite a disappointing result. Petersen Jr scoring early in the game before substitute Nascimento made it 0-2 in the 2nd half. We don't care as we are already through to the next round of the CL

Goals: Petersen Jr (5'), Nascimento (57')
