This return fixture was just as close as the first game and we were grateful for our slender first leg lead. The only goal of this match came after 71 minutes, when Jacob Wilkinson laid on a pass for Wayne Dixon to finish off. Late on, Vener Chekmarev sustained a hamstring injury which sidelines him for 6 days. Wayne Dixon was given man of the match.

We have made the second round of the cup for the first time in six seasons. Now we await the draw, and also the new league line-up.
