Second leg in the cup vs a stronger opponent was not, again, watched as we came out overwhelmingly 3-0 home for a 6-0 aggregate which takes us into the next turn. Only problem is the injuries. So far once a match we had one down, as today we suffered 3 injuries in 2 matches. All of them as usual are 5+ days and all on main players. Pretty shameful since we need top form even in CL this season.

As expected, we lost this cup match against vastly superior opponents. Being 3 levels below them and 12 quality down, we needed to have a good start to try and pull back from the 0-2 first leg loss. But it all went horribly wrong as they scored after just two minutes. On 12', it was 0-2, and now it was just a matter of pride for us. Our cause wasn't helped when a penalty was awarded against us on 22 minutes, from which they scored. From that point on, we threw caution to the wind, and took off a central defender and sent on a third striker, as well as pushing our wide players forward into an attacking role. We didn't manage to score, but at least we didn't concede any more.

July Fourth had a little bit of work to do to finish the tie off after the 3-1 win in the first leg, Our first goal came from a corner with Petersen crossing for Miku-Zidane to header in, Then Benayoun added one from distance and Petersen crossed in for Lenoil to header in for 3-0 and that was the half-time score. There was a consolation for fc gisi through Pattinama, But we finished the game strong adding 3 more goals, Kusama laying off for Watson then Miku getting on the scoresheet with a well struck shot before Brennan gave away a penalty and was sent off for spitting at an opponent and with Papaleo not being present to take the penalty, Petersen was on duties and he scored from it.

Most terrible league start.. we did not expect the weaker teams to perform so well. Might actually have to start giving players league reward now otherwise we won't win it

Good news is we are through to Club Playoff, meeting a stronger team as usual. Let's see if the Playoff curse is still in place (we've been eliminated at playoff for the last 4 seasons)

We scored first but when they got the Away goal, we were quite worried since this means we have to score 2 more goals. But the players pulled through and did score 2 goal.
