League issue - 8th but joint 7th!!

don`t quote me one this until the league comes up as it will say rules on there but if i`m not mistaken if two teams are the same then they will play a one of match to decide who finishes where ? so you may played a one of without realizing or knowing and unfortunately there`s no way of knowing as we can`t see last season games ??

Thank you Dv8r, can you see this image now? I just realised the team in 9th is also the SAME as my (8th) and the team in 7th!!

Also, Spornybol, I know I came 8th, because I got a mail in my in game mail box saying "you came 8th and did not get promoted... bla bla bla..".... check out the league attached?

if it was a one of game it would have been played yesterday but as said won`t know till league comes up on tuesday or MK replies tomorrow if he`s read this thread to confirm

Thanks spornybol .... did you notice the 9th placed team has the same stats as me (8th) and the team in 7th, so in fact, there are THREE teams on the same, so no one off game could have been played for all of us three do you think??

don`t think mods can answer this one as they actually work behind the scene but hopefully MDKII will be around at some point to clarify

Really don't know why your not seeing this as a good thing? This year you will probably crack on and get a champs league spot. Yeh you didn't get the prize money for coming 8th but you don't need it (unless you need to replace players who have retired)
