Question about skill points, qualiy and contract details

Don't be fooled guys. I think the game DOES recognise skill points earned, even if they haven't been assigned yet.

The following quote is taken from July Fourth's "Guide to Power Training" in the "Tutorials & Guides" section of the forum.

QUOTE: "Unassigned skill points are recognised by the game as earned and your players training slows down once he has earned enough skill points for the next star, even if you don't apply skill points immediately as they are earned"

I know your information, but what I mentioned was quality of the player. It's different with training speed.
If I don't assign skill points now, it'll be a disadvantage for this season; however I want an advantage for next season.

Yes, but as the quote says, the unassigned skill points are still recognised when counting towards quality (and stars) of the players.

For example: Say a player is on 48 quality, and 19 skill points away from next star (quality level), and he has 21 sk pts unassigned. The game recognises that the play has enough points to advance a star level, and so slows training. Therefore surely, if the game recognises the points for training, why wouldn't it also recognise these same points for playing / value / quality totals?
