Not all are cheating some Tankers are doing this because they don't have to much time and instand of finishing on 4th, 5th, etc they prefer to wait 1 season.

and from what I read a lot of tankers using this method then spend the season playing with a team they have tanked and abandoned a couple of months before. This can't be in the spirit of the game and it distorts league tables.

Opening lots of different accounts and then abandoning, stacking teams, until a player thinks they will dominate, just seems wrong and very unfair on the clubs virtual fans.

so the tanking stats photo you posted at the top of this thread was from an older season?, or you tanked and still finished 2nd in the league?

Well done on a top 2 finish, but if you had all those skill points this season saved up, why not just add them and try and finish 1st? Surely trying win the current season is more important then whatever happens the season after?

I tanked two seasons, then saved all points from the third.
And I did try to win the league this past season, but applying the skill points in the uncertain hope of winning the one game necessary to maybe win the league would have made the larger purpose pointless. If the guy who ultimately won had lost any of his last 6 matches, I could still have won the league.

I have a crapload of league trophies and CL trophies ... but no Cup trophies. I want a shot at a Cup trophy. That's the point.

So basically for you it's not about the achievement of earning the trophy, but about the trophy itself? The candy you take from babies is indeed tastier than regular candy..

I'll still be playing against teams 2 or 3 levels higher than me who have a huge advantage in that they can simply go buy (what to me are) 7 and 8 star players off the market. At least this time I'll have a fighting chance.

These are the results so far (it took me awhile to get the defensive scouts)






Draw was with the 4th place team, loss was to the 3rd place team, defeated the 2nd place team 5-0 with my 'A' squad (which was available due to schedule weirdness with a 4 am league game and a 5pm Cup match)
Qualities are: 77 (my Rangers), CIRO 71.1, Michaela 68.4, red sky 64.5, Blue Sky 67.3, La banda 62.4




Champions League group stage was a breeze. Most of the better teams are on my side of the bracket in elimination stage though.

We've survived two Cup match losses so far. Next opponent, strike, has quality 72.3. If I make it past them I get to face level 14, quality 91.6 Boca squad and a likely 3rd place finish (but, the 66q Marinko knocked off the 79q Assassins, so .. who knows?) The 4 remaining teams on the other side of the bracket are all 72-75q
