Agreed! comes down to timing, I had a couple of attempts where I bid highly and lost badly, most of the time it was during the morning (Aussie time zone), I worked out a time in the late afternoon when I usually head home from work, at that point theres bugger all people online and I started scoring 5 star players with only one token bid...

I like the theory about dummy accounts though, If it was my game and I was making money from it i'd consider doing that too...

You have the have the 5* players available on the list in the first place. I dont even have THAT!

People waste their tokens too much in transfers like these... it's no wonder people cry conspiracy every time. 20+ tokens for 25 year old 5* player... waste of tokens. People on here buy 18 year old 5* players for 2 tokens... you just need to know when to look.

I've been observing transfers and rarely there's transfer you have to bid more than 10 tokens, of course, I'm talking 5* players around 25 years old. But every F*****g time I bid for a player I spend 20+ tokens and sometimes I even dont get player (I spent around 32 tokens once and lost).

Here's interesting part:
- every time I'm bidding against someone and go up to 20+ tokens, they are asian, mostly thai
- every single time I send them message "I think top eleven is cheating. can you confirm that you really did bid against me", I havent get a single answer
- I saw today 2 transfers (5* players, around 25 years) in which 5-6 ppls bidded in initial round, but in knockout not a single person bidded. To me, that is really really weird.

in conclusion - i think top eleven is cheating us. they have "ghost profiles" that have infinitive tokens and only purpouse is that we spend more tokens.

Trust me, when you get to higher levels you'll find a lot of people who buy tokens and they will go to great lengths to buy that player because they have a lot of tokens. It is not uncommon to see people bidding over 20 tokens but this is a waste and Nordeus loves these kinds of players. If the player is really worth it.. Close to 6*, special ability, 18 y/o with fast training speed.. Then yes it is worth it. But if it's a 25 y/o 5*, I'd probably stop at 10 max...

Who is crazy enough to think that he can buy a quality player with just 1 token? This doesn't make sense. In my opinion, it could be the "ghost profiles" theory you mentioned or the more likely one which is that I'm always having bad luck because when I bid for quality players I have to spend at least 10 tokens

i`ve spent 3 tokens on two decent players on third day this season, yes expected to pay more tokens so i was in shock to start with and when shock went i ran around the block cheering while naked ( still waiting for police to turn up )

Have you ever tried tracking the ghost bidders by their FB A/C.
Many of the managers names are traceable in the search facility on your own home page on FB, pretty simple really.

i think it depends on the server and level. it's my bad luck i'm in a very active server and my level is next to highest in my server. i sometimes spend 30+ tokens just to get the player. normal is 10+ tokens especially in the first week of the season. now i don't have tokens anymore. not planning to buy again.

i'm thinking of not getting promoted for at least 3 seasons. just to see if the auction is not as competitive. my cup results will definitely suffer because of this. but if i can get players for 1-3 tokens, i don't mind one bit.
