I tanked last season because I was in a league with big spenders and didn't stand a chance. This season I was promoted anyway after finishing 11th. So I am now in a league of level 12 managers who can buy up to level 79 players in the auction while I am a level 11 manager and cant buy anything higher than level 74 which, none improve my team. If I am promoted from 11th position I think I should be promoted as a manager enabling me to compete on an equal basis. Sort out this game engine, you are spoiling the gameplay for some of us.

if the higher up leagues dont have enough players, some other players from lower leagues may be promoted as well

wonder if someone in 14th can be promoted as well

next season is posible that you will loose a level, so.. I imagine that you can buy scouts of 7* and thats an advantadge.
I had a team friend in your situation and, I'm sure that like in his case, if you tank the season you will loose a level next season.
I remember that my friend had no opportunities in the league, but he won the cup and Champions so, play with this situation because, as I said can be an advantage.

As I finished in 11th I was not eligible for Champions league and have already been knocked out of the cup by a higher level and much better team.

If I tank this league, no option probably, scouts will be the same now as they will be next season, even if I get promoted from 11th place again. Even if I get promoted again I will still be a level 11 manager in a level 13th league. It gets worse. Pity this game doesn't cater for relegation were you could regroup.

You should be able to buy the better Scouts, are they not 7*?

I could buy scouts but, that would depend on me have hundreds of tokens and, I don't.

My point is I have been messed up by not being able to buy similar level players in the open auction to my opponents in this league because I am a level below them manager wise. Doesn't seem fair does it, especially as I was promoted to league 12 after finishing in 11th place in league 11.

If that's the game engine then the designers should be ashamed of themselves.

i have a team that are all 2 star player`s except one at level 15 and nearly all under 25 ?? looking forward to get trolled with my scout team ( NOT ) and i know there team is level 15 ??

Hmm, I have to agree promoting a team without promoting your managerlevel seems outright crazy
