You can also earn them quite easily using other methods that are free.

You can sign a sponsorship with a club sponsor that provides you with a token on a daily basis, and a bonus token for logging in on consecutive days, to a total of 35 a season.

You can also watch videos on the website for free tokens, and complete surveys etc, this is called 'Token Farming'

If you have an android or iPhone, you can earn tokens by using 'Tapjoy', which asks you to download free apps.
