Question for fellow American Players: Game Time Support

When I watch a live match that I am not in I will always support the team playing a team I need to lose or a team playing a bot.

I am wondering if players will support a team playing against a U.S. player. I have never had a manager support me during a game and will usually have at least one (always non-american manager) supporting the team I am playing during prime hours. I may be thinking a bit arrogantly as an 'Ugly American', but I do think it is because where I am living.

Any other American players notice that?

Nope, I have some random support occasionally. ... and I will say that I do the opposite - if I see an American I do support them as there aren't as many of us playing as other countries. When you see an active manager, of any nationality, support them & send a friend request and maybe they'll support you sometimes.

iI am Portuguese and I would gladly support US managers all day long, it would be a breeze of fresh air in the suffocating multitude of Real Mohameds, Nguyen FCs and unreadable Thai characters that make you feel totally estranged, but I've only seen one North American team in all this time and he was neither in my league nor an active player.

I have a natural tendency to support teams from my country, but not exaggerating, I'm not into hive behaviour. I never support against anyone even in my interest. I have a friend (don't know her in real life) in one of my leagues, we are fighting for the title, we have the same points and she defeated me 3:1 without extra support, fair and square, so I'll even support her if I can no longer win, why not.

On other hand once I befriended a Maltese chap, he seemed cool and supportive. Until we fell in the same league. The <redacted> unfriended me and started to support all sort of games against my team, even in the CL (we got in the same competition), albeit not in the same group. I hate little people like with a passion that and I tend to find this pattern in some cultures more than in others.

It is simply not in me to betray a friend even a virtual one, you have to remain loyal until the end as in real life, as in any commitment. So, to avoid unpleasant stuff, I avoid people from the same level these days, everyone.

i`l support those on that are my friends list unless they are against each other then i just watch and not support either, the only other time i support is near end of the season and depending how close my nearest rival is i`l support his oppo as i know they will come in and support my oppo, what comes around goes around and all that

I only support friends, i never support rivals keeping fair play, i am not interfearing with others its none of my bussiness and i propably not even noticing where do they live.

I accepted the first friend request I ever received, a guy from Turkey I played against in the Cup, and who may no longer be active. That was season 1.
Also in season 1 I friended 3 players, Brazil, Belgium, and Spain. I'm now in a league with those 3 but it appears only the Spanish guy and I will be promoting.
I took a friend request from a German in season 3 who is 2 levels below me, and I have a real life friend who is just starting at level 1 right now.
This will give me a little variety in levels. Hoping to find a couple more Americans on my server though.

I do support other americans especially in the CL or cup but dont have any in my league !!!!!!!

Yeah we're a minority I think. I also tend to choose to support us girls out there, when I see one.

I only support friends. And I'm friend only with people I know in real life.
BUT
if you supported my opponent once, I'll become a leech and support all your opponents for the entire season, no matter what country you're from...

I do my work as a troll, and that's why my league is interesting at now with 4 teams that can win it. LOL
