I've got a 5* DR/DMR, always been a good player. Last 6-7 games he is getting 4 & 5 ratings & yet he is mentioned several times in the commentary,

"Villazon holds his ground, Villazon makes the challenge & clears the danger, Villazon is having none of it & wins the tackle"

Cannot understand why he would be mentioned so often in the commentary & still get 4s & 5s when others are not mentioned in the commentary & score ratings of 7+.

But my striker is worst.......he actually missed the chances as mentioned the commentary.....

mostly defender hard to under perform in this game as commentary really encouraging.
Striker miss chances, even Rooney or Van Persie miss chances.
If Striker under-perform play arrow or add in mate to play up front, if he is the main source of goal jus use it
dont waste him on the bunch coz 26 days is like a year to them and 1 day miss is like 2 weeks to them in real life

It's funny to see that after creating a thread that shows how tactics and arrows don't mean anything, people are still giving advice to play a man up front and put an arrow...

anyway....
after playing a few more games with really terrible tactics, and realizing that the outcome of a game is predetermined and has nothing to do with tactics, I've decided to start playing with an illegal formation to see how that affects the outcome.
If anyone's interested, I'll keep updating.

I got a 6* striker who used scored like every match in the first 14 days of the season......but his form drop in the last 7 days...... He played 28 games so far......am I playing him too much?


Its the critical stage of the season....semi final....finals...etc....Do you guys have any solution to resume its scoring performance?

I doubt if you will rest him he will go back to he's form. Like Adel said maybe red arrow it will make him to play more offensive.

We can confirm that the meaning of Red Arrow is... make the player more attack-minded!
What does the Blue one means? Deffense-minded?

Why don't you explain it officially, even there are so many questions about those arrows issues????

Maybe the developers want us to bid and replace players frequently.....cannot recall if I have any players that perform well throughout the seasons......yet, it is ture in real life...

Something like that ) I notice to my team that, after more games they stopped scoring so often like before, even if they was in very good form.

I have the exactly same problem as you. I realize that the star player keep getting 5 for the pass 6-7 games and maybe I know the reason for it. He was my captain, first choice free kick and corner kick tacker before I bought 2 players who are better quality players and also free kick specialist and corner kick specialist and he become 3rd choice captain and also 2nd choice free kick and corner kick taker. Maybe in real world the player would be unhappy too because he is no more the captain and set pieces first choice taker.
