To be honest Skidz i felt a tinge of guilt today when i picked up a Nordgen striker. I was sat saying "please stop bidding it's only gonna end in tears for you". After he'd wasted 22 tokens he gave up. I bet if he checked my team he'd have been fuming as he isn't even gonna play this season i picked him up so i can train him for next year as 2 of my strikers are 21.

If you see starting bids on that shiny striker you have been always dreaming of, first check bidders whereabouts, then the player himself.

I have a different approach when I rly want a player. I place 3 straight starting bids on him just to make a statement :P

I tried that today to warn the guy off but not at the beginning. There was a few bidders at the start everyone left on round 3 so i tried to do the decent thing and double bid twice about round 10 but that didn't scare him off.

That's why i only felt a little bit guilty, well that and i'm a heartless bastard

Next time, try this at the beginning. The wise ones will flee. Some crazy might insist on but hey lets admit it, it would be boring if there werent any wackos around.
