I watch about 90 -95% of my games and have never seen in the commentary (mine or oppo's) offside !!!!!

I play it every game! I do think it does have value everytime ive tried force counter attacks I lose or have a player sent off! so now I play it and do OK.

Every comment I make on this forum is based on my own experiences and so should be taken as such!.
I only use it if I am losing a game :P
It depends a lot on how good your defense is.
The commentary is like "Kofi Bobo is trying to break the trap... he's through!" (or something like. Next time i see it I'll post exact quote)
But I don't see it very often, so not many people use it. Since my guys are really fast they'd regret it anyway.
Might have to try it next time I'm losing!

I use that always..
When I am not playing defensive, I play offside + zonal marking.

do not use it, if your opponent's strikers are very good/strong
