Perhaps I am unlucky, but have read a few posts, so suspect am not the only one. The problem is that, by waiting for them to come in to some form, I find that I may have already cost myself valuable goals. I've won the league on goal difference twice in the last seven seasons, so know very well the importance of goal difference.
Not to mention the points/cup exit...
I think, once you have eliminated all the other options (that includes MC not playing well due to playing down the flanks and other tactical nuances) you're left with little option but to sell them.

In the above match, our star missed 6 one-on-one chances. He also had one saved. I then conceded a 90th minute pen against my main title rival. Valuable points lost.
I guess the question is: how much will you let them cost you before you bite the bullet? It's just the loss of 50 tokens that bugs me...
