    Scout Players THE TRUTH!!!.

I have decided to right this as I keep seeing so many simular threads about managers buying scout players and then being dissapointed with their rarings! and overall performance!.

I play with many scouts and have done for many seasons so I feel I have learnt a very good ubderstanding on how they work! so here is a few tips!.

1 Buying a scout player DOES NOT GUARRANTEE he will score loads of goals, be man of the match or constantly have high ratings!.

2 Many factors come into play when buying a scout!, finding his best position he plays!, some of you buy a scout say MC play maker and play him MCR, this may not actually be his best position! he may play better MCL!.

3 Always check which foot he plays and try him in that side position first!, if no good try him on the otherside!.

4, A scout player does not always play good in the first season, he can sometimes be quite average so keep training him and he will come good in the second more than likely!

5 FORMATION. yes this does really matter!, only buy scout players that are helpful to your formation! i.e. say your playing a standard 4-4-2 but buy a ST who is a shadow striker!!!, this is absolutly pointless! as a shadow strikers special ability is best for AMC!, THINK, always study, think before you buy! if you want a ST scout then buy a ONE ON ONE or PENATLY specialist!, if you want a MC scout then buy a PLAYMAKER, DRIBBLER OR FREEKICK specialist!, if you want a defender the buy ARIEL OR DEFENSIVE WALL specialist, if you want a goalkeeper then buy a ONE ON ONE STOPPER etc!

6 To get maximum potential in a team of scouts here is the best team selection( in a perfect world) 4-4-2 formation.
Goalkeeper(one on one stopper), DL(ariel defender left footed)DC(defensive wall left footed)DC(defencive wall right footed)DR(ariel defender right footed) ML(DRIBBLER left footed) MC( playmaker left footed) MC( freekick specialist right footed) MR( dribbler right footed) ST( one on one left footed) ST( one on one/penalty specialist right footed).

7 never sell your scout after 6/7 games or less because you think he is no good due to low ratings!, all you are doing is wasting 50T and a lot of money and handing a very good player away!! someone else WILL get the best out of him!!!.

I hope I have given some light to scout players so go out and buy wisely! not fooleshly!! good luck and heres to have many happy times with players you enjoy!.

In real life I've never seen wingbacks specialized in aerial defending, though. :P

It's a function mostly exclusive to centrebacks.

DL and DR defend the flanks, avoid crossings and also dribble through the flanks, having an offensive role as well.

The problem is most of them are old and cannot keep up with the team. They don't earn enough skill points.

Don't buy the old ones!, you can get them for 23-26 these are fine, at the end of the day there scouts with special ability so they do not need to train really fast but a lot do at different times, you have to allow that when you have many scouts only a few can get high ratings each game otherwise your team would be perfect and the game designers don't want to make it to easy and they need to make money some how.

I don't power train like you do bro, your team will last longer than mine, I don't have the time to be training every hour, booster back for a few days to get them up to the quality I need, having a full team of scouts works well with my system.
My wife moans enough the time I spend on this game lol.
