Okay I would like to post something about the topic
I made a little test here, some weaker opponent was playing 352, i decided to play exactly like him with idea to man mark his midfielders and cut them from defenders and strikers. I have also set hard tackling and pressing style through the whole pitch because i wanted my 5 midfielders to hunt his 5 midfielders wherever they go, to lock them down. Okay, he is weaker than me, but my man marking was totally sucessful and here's match info:



Maybe this will help in some way to you guys who are thinking about using man marking

a better test would be a friendly with 99% condition and m2m, then another friendly agasint the same team with 99% condition and zonal. see the difference then and tell me they are different.

Thats what I was thinking about, more than one match. And maybe against a closer team. I am going to try it with some of mine after today's matches.

I might be able to do a couple tomorrow. Although Celtic Rangers have 2 matches I can train the other team down to their condition. If I manage it I'll post match stats - kinda interested to see if MoM produces consitently higher tackling figs.

Since friendlies aren't really the same as regular matches in my estimation I am not sure what results I will get when I run it the other direction from the stronger team (they have a match so I have to wait for that) but it is interesting.
