I hate you guys :p
Got a decent 1-4 win in league play.... so we sit 4th at day's end... but 2nd still within reach if he slips up....
In Cup play.... day finishes chalk with Ozcan taking a 0-4 advantage in the 2nd leg....
Guess I know who the boys are facing next round...
Thursday Update.
LGE: LONDON CITY 2-0 NO CHANCE FC
A goal in each half, from Lukas Duran (12), and Hector Morgada (75), gave us a comfortable win, with no frills attached. MOM: Brian Gibbs.
CUP: KING FC 2-4 LONDON CITY
The long trip to Peru was well worth it for this 1st leg tie. The home side scored first after just 3 minutes, but Paul Edmonds quickly grabbed an equaliser (7'). Teddy King (16), scored against his namesake team, to give us a 2-1 halftime lead. Second half goals from Solomon Grundy (71), and Hector Morgada (81), and a late reply by our opponents, leaves us in a healthy position for the 2nd leg. Morgada was named MOM.
After yesterday's slightly disappointing results, we were something like back to our best today. All of a sudden, we find ourselves 3 points clear at the top of the league table, after our closest rival's, have suffered 2 consequetive defeats. As regards the cup, we can expect more difficult opponents, if we progress after this round.
Seen better score?? Just finished :)

A little late with yesterday's results, apologies.
Massie Lodge maintained their 2pt advantage on top of League Level 8 table this morning with a comfortable 2-0 home win over a Middle Eastern opponent. A goal in either half was enough to see the Green & Gold army safely home.
An easy 0-5 victory away in the Cup over my nephew from Level 5. A victory here sees Massie lodge pitted against yet another friend in the last 8 of the Cup should both progress. We only have 5 friends in T11, this will be 3 matches in a row!
Hey, I'm still around. Not much time to post though. I'm trying something odd with my team this season. I'm actually trying for 'relegation.' Doing this for several reasons. I'm very busy trying to get an album recorded (not mine, I'm doing the engineering) so time is limited. Second, I think it's incredibly unfair that my brother (a level behind me) has to play me every season in cup elimination. Third, I'm hoping the extra season of player training will help me through the next couple levels. Finally, I'm very frustrated with the system. I've only managed to acquire one new player this season. Though I enjoy the game very much, i can see a point coming where I'm going to quit because tokens are so integral to being competitive and it's simply no fun trying to compete with token buyers.
Anyway, focusing entirely on Champions league. Next season will be different since I won't be in CL nor cup ..
Lost my cup competition to my same opponent last year. 1st leg i win 3-0 at home but 2nd leg i lost 0-3 also then lost penalty shoot out with 1-4.the opponent is better than me,he at level 4 and my team at level 3.
last round in cl groups today, should not be a problem!
For the first time in 14 seasons I'm playing if my memory serves me right, I'm facing an unusual situation where I look like I'm going to qualify as group runners-up rather than group winners, I don't think I have been runner-up in a group in the CL before because I normally out do most teams in the group stages I play in over the seasons by having far superior quality.
Yesterday a real unexpected thing has happened.
#2 up to #6 had a draw or a loss.

Today I have a match against #2. 1 minute later starts a match of #3 against #4.
Lets hope for some positive results for my end.
Match Preview - Perfect Tactics vs Zardast FC
With kick off in an hour, here is the preview for the biggest match of the season so far.
It's 1st vs 2nd in the league. Perfect Tactics hold a 5 point lead at the top of the table but both teams are on good form. 5 wins out of 5 in the league means this could be a close game, even though Perfect Tactics are by far the better team. Zardast FC are an active team and our biggest competitor. A win for us will give us an 8 point lead, putting clear daylight between us. Perfect Tactics have been struggling to get an early foothold in the game as of late. A late Petersen strike gave us the win and saved us getting an embarrassing draw against Fenerbahce SK yesterday. We must get into the game from the start and get the early goals to kill off the game.
Their strike force has 14 goals shared between them and he has a scout player in midfield with 6 goals to his name this season. This also brings Hamsa Radcliffe back to play against his former club after being sold 2 seasons ago having been out of favour for Perfect Tactics.
Perfect Tactics make several changes from their narrow win against Fenerbahce SK. Dutton makes way for Kompany, Fabregas replaces Balbuena and Mata comes in for Cazorla in a 4-3-2-1 formation. Morale and condition are full and win bonus set to max.
5-6 in strenght in CL. 1st after group stage, will meet my match hopefully in semi final or final :) for now - safe :)
0-10 Today in the League.
We've made a warm up for the CL game later ^^
League, round 11 - Perfect Tactics 7-1 Zardast FC
The win extended our lead to 8 points at the top of the table.
We absolutely trashed Zardast FC today. We got the early goal we were looking for! Suarez getting us off the mark and Mata with the assist. It was then 2-0, Suarez providing the pass for Petersen to smash past the goalkeeper. Petersen got his second 3 minutes later, Fabregas with good skill rolled it to Petersen for a tap in. Zardast FC got a goal back just before half time. Yoon with the goal and that ended our clean sheet record in the league. Petersen had a chance to put us 4-1 up before the break but yet again, another missed penalty! It was 4-1 anyway as a corner was headed in by Silva before Petersen did complete his hat trick from a counter attack, another tap in for the Dane making it 5-1. Then it was 6-1 after the Super Sub came on, he got 1 on 1 with the keeper, took it round him and rolled it into an empty net. The last minute goal put some very nice icing on the cake, Petersen's corner met by Pina for a very convincing win.
Goals: Suarez (15'), Petersen (28', 31', 78'), Yoon (42'), Silva (67'), Crawford (85'), Pina (89')
MOTM: Petersen
Rival didn't watch the match today, probably knew he was going to be Petersen'd
8-0 in league with last place, nothing special....
Result Just in...
Sentepespor 3-0 Suht algaja vnii.
This means we are confined to being group runners-up whatever our result will be against jackals. The major bookies have stopped taking bets on the July Fourth vs jackals match after a lot of money from punters has been placed on jackals to win and jackals HT/FT etc... Rumours are out there that July Fourth plan to chuck this game.
I'm just protecting all my high-priced talent in the CL game today.... 31 minutes later I have a league game....
Champions League preview - Perfect Tactics vs FK Partizan
Dead rubber match as both teams have qualified in first and second place respectively.
We make 8 changes to the side that won 7-1 against Zardast FC. Only Petersen, Silva and Fabregas keep their place. There's also a rare start for Hugo Lloris in goal who is set to leave the club at the end of the season and Celik makes his full debut for the club since we signed him 2 days ago. Crawford and Herman gets into the starting 11 since day 2 making way for Suarez and Lamb.
Not bothered about losing today, just a run around for a few of the kids who need some game time.
I lost in CL ! Unreal but true! :D 2-1 home!! :D
Champions League group stage, round 6 - Perfect Tactics 2-1 FK Partizan
We keep our 100% record in the group stages in tact but only just. Both teams fielded weakened teams today but we still were the better team and it showed when Petersen set up Crawford for the first goal of the game. There really wasn't much to report in the first half apart from the goal as it was pretty even. In the second half, we doubled our lead when Petersen set up Cazorla for 2-0. Then FK Partizan hit back and got goal from a corner, Radojkovic with the goal. Nervy last 10 minutes as FK Partizan pressured for the equaliser we held on for the win.
Goals: Crawford (29'), Cazorla (68'), Radojkovic (71')
MOTM: Cazorla
We are not sure who our next opponents are as it's a 3 way battle for qualification in group B.
Match Preview: 'Thai Team' vs July Fourth
We go into the game 9 points ahead after one of the rivals won earlier, Victory for July Fourth will ensure we stretch our lead to 12 points, the main emphasis is whether we can keep yet another clean sheet and try and close in on a club record of 13 league games in a row, We are starting the game in a 4-5-1 V formation because Pepp Crawford is out injured and the opponents line up of 4-4-1-1, they have only lost 1 game so far in the league this season, Key players for the Thai Team include striker Imanol Fraile who has scored 16 this season so far and also free-kick taker Philip Niven.
No, I havent watched any of his games this season so I don't know if he would be watching, Last time I conceded in the league was against KS Ziomale of Round 25 this season, so if we can get to Round 13 without conceding a goal, thats a new record for me, Current record is 13 games (Rounds 1-13 of S10/L10 which I went on to concede a low of 4 goals that season.)
Result Just in...
Fc Louis 0-2 Tayfun FC... Fc Louis chucked their last champions league since they had already qualified on 10 points beforehand with 2nd vs 3rd playing each other later with 2nd being on 9 points and 3rd on 7 points. If Steaua Siret win their last game I play Steaua Siret next round, If It's a draw I play Fc Louis and... If NONKRAVAN FC win, then I play NONKRAVAN FC... lol what a birazze situation the last group C game has, 3 possible results for 3 different possible opponents.
Final Game of the group stages saw a repeat of the opening game and not just the scoreline of 4-0.
The visitors Danel FC made it clear from the KO of their intentions their hard tackling backfired on 17 minutes with MC V del Rosa stretchered off after a tackle on Glenn Keeley (silly boy).
Tacon was booked on 20 minutes for a similar challenge this time resulting in a injury to Cesareo, who had been played as an offering to the Gods (engine) after suffering some terrible form (5-5-4-4) it was decided he may as well be injured as sit games out on the bench, he now misses the next three days with an ankle injury; Parkes scoring from the resulting free kick.
Garner made it 2-0 from another Parkes free kick on 33 with a lofted ball into the box leaving Garner to climb above the defence, heading in.
Gonzalaz was booked for Ravers on 35, this game was really hotting up, the ref turning a blind eye to Danel FC's kick and run tactics.
Ravers switched to a more defensive game playing long balls upto the strikers bypassing the MF in attempt to reduce the tackle count.
Tugay and Kissi finished the game off on (54-85) minutes.
Ravers new legend DML/ML Harry Healless made a brief cameo appearance replacing Cid after two seasons of playing dam near every game. Next up is a to strengthen the right side of MF were again Parkes is the only option.
Ravers next match tonight is against 2nd placed FC schalke, seems every day we are playing a top five club.
CL result has been set.
7 - 1 victory over the opponent ranked last in our group. With this we set qualification for the the next round. We were allready 99.9% sure but if the #3 in the group won with like 35 - 0 from #1 we would have been out. :p
Players are warmed up for a good game against our #2 in league. Fans are ready to welcome our opponent in the hell of FCP.
