The games not realistic so hardly a comparison.
Turning 18-21 5* players into 7/8/9* players in a week proves that point.
Age is irrelevant in this game put a 30yo in the same position and he'll score just as many given the same quality.
Paying top whack for 18yo players who do nothing in the game is not good business for anyone.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm now level 7 and have finished as runner up in the CL every time. I know second isn't bad but still first of the losers!!
I have a reasonable team and was unsure if anyone else always came this close?
Starting to feel like my mrs (never coming first!!) ;-)
Any hints or help appreciated.
PS, my strongest team isn't out as i have a cup game before my league game today (all of 30 mins before, thanks nordeus).
finally, I know we get screwed for the tokens but I have only ever been awarded the ones for watching videos, a couple of times I've tried to get 4 or 5 tokens by registering for this n that but always simply says "viewed" in the support section, never completed! Data is accurate and e-mail is live.....are they just pulling my plonker or what?
Cheers all and good luck.
Gareth
Game engine gone nuts! How the hell can i draw against this guy? he is inactive, has players out of position and is 9th place in league!

July Fourth 6-0 Thai Team League Round 10
We played at home against 12th place team that the club name is written in Thai Language text, It is the first of the 2 games that I play teams with Thai text, So really all I can refer them is Thai Team. We played 4-5-1 V-Style to start off with playing Vasko instead of Crawford leaving Papaleo lone-striker, In the 7th minute Papaleo got hold of the ball and waited for support to arrive and playing a key pass to L.McNamara to get us our first, Zidane next put a shot wide, Vasko injured Roman and picked up a yellow card for it but one of the opposition players Karim got revenge on Vasko and he was injured and I had to bring on Savage and switch the formation to dv8r's 4-3N-2W-1, Mensah scored the free-kick that caused Vasko's injury, Papaleo found R.McNamara on the edge of the 18 yard box and he struck it towards goal and scored, We brought off Holvoet for Crawford and switched to 3N-3N-2W-2 next for the second half, since the game was pretty much over, Zidane was next to have to go off injured so we brought on Rocastle and the AMR winger was brought back to MR with red arrows, thus playing asymmetrical, We had a corner moments later and Novotny found L.McNamara in the area to head it for 4-0. L.McNamara setup substitute Rocastle for his first of the season, Then Papaleo and L.McNamara both missed a chance each, Kevin Mensah played P.McNamara onside and he hit it hard past the keeper for 6-0, Crawford missed a late sitter moments after.
This Game will be remembered more for the injuries than the goals, Vasko is out for 3 days and Zidanes injury is set to last 4 days, but I do have the necessary medics to revive both players if needed. This is the first time Zidane has been injured in 2 and a half seasons which includes all the power training he received as a player to get him upto 7*103 and the AMR position. Weve dug out the red medics and both players are available for selection for the next game.
10 Games Played, 10 Games Won, 10 Clean Sheets.
0-4 to the good guys this morning..... Cup draw preceding as planned.....
BIIIG League game later.... currently sitting 5th with a game-in-hand on everyone above me... but a 3rd
consecutive loss will drop us to 6th.... not where we want to be!
Playing one of my friends in the cup, wish me luck!
Well here are my games from the last days. Haven't posted them cause I was banging my head to the walls.

The 0 - 1 loss caused me banging my head. But then again the other guy did good. He was one of the few managers I have seen online. In second half he changed his tactic and before I had the right answer to it he scored the goal. Not to win pisses me off but all I can say I good job mate.
We are over it and it's time to score some more goals.
Ravers trip to Tokyo this afternoon was a pleasant affair putting an end to Swansea City's unbeaten run and moved us 12 points clear with all top five clubs having played.
Ravers got off to a flyer when a shot was deflected behind for a corner Parkes whipped the ball in for Keeley to head in his first of the season on 1 minute, Cesareo made it 2 with a solo effort from outside the box, Pardue made it four from another Parkes corner and free kick on (32 - 47).
Tim Sherwood finished off the game with a bullet of a strike on 81 minutes. Cesareo was booked on 60 minutes and though he managed to find the back of the net playing from DMC with down arrows he was given a rateing of '4' MOM was Shearer with one assist.
Quick 15 minutes in Swansea City's hospitality suite (geisha girls were very obliging) :D then off for the flight to Bali, meeting up with long time friend Keith a few beers and some welcome sunshine.
Believe me he may have a quality Avg of 28.5 but Ravers will not be taking this game lightly.
2nd place won today to keep the pressure on me. A win tonight is important as tomorrow's match is huge.
I play 2nd place tomorrow.. Hoping the game engine favours me as I have had a few rocky results as of late, starting games too slowly and wasting chances too often. I suspect he will be playing a 4-1-2-1-2 diamond as his MC was injured today. Whether or not he heals his MC to play a 4-1-3N-2 makes no difference as I'll still be playing the 4-5-1 V.
Also been rumours around the Perfect Tactics camp saying that Petersen doesn't play that well when Cazorla is on the pitch. Could be coincidental looking at the past matches, but not taking any chances, I'll be playing with Mata on the left and Petersen on the right.
Interesting... I got my tokens and decided to sign that young stud DL/DC 6 skills point from 7*...
but I needed to dump someone in order to sign him....
Took 2 days to get a buyer and clear a space...
So now I have signed a Scout...
Suddenly the engine is generating a ton of 4* players in auction young ones... multi-position.... SA ....
I can usually only find 3-4 4* players a day - usually over the age of 30....
Coincidence?
Anyone up for a friendly game? :D

League, round 10 - Fenerbahce SK 0-1 Perfect Tactics
Poor result for us today. It was frustrating night for us as we tried to break down the opponents defence but failed to, cross after cross, pass after pass, we just couldn't do it. Lamb with the best chance of the first half saw his header go wide of the post. A long range Petersen strike gave us the winner late on in the game. A win is a win but we must play better against stronger opposition tomorrow, we welcome 2nd place in a top 2 clash.
Goals: Petersen (82')
MOTM: Petersen
What sorcery does the 3W-4-1-2 use? Butterfly, 4-5-1 V, 4-1-2-1-2 all useless... 4-2-2-2 seemed to work...
Cup draw update..... all chalk so far... (seedings added cuz I like em.... D'oh!)
Attachment 2474
Bali what a pace, Ravers won 1-3 but were shocked by the apparent tactics of Keith and the religious 4-5-1 which he has played since day1.
Three bookings and a red for spitting, 18 tackles and 14 fouls deserved more IMO.
The penalty for his tactics, two goals from the free kicks bent around the wall by Douglas and the third a nice header by recent PT Kissi, who has offers flooding in along with Shearer, one will go but only when the time is right.
Breakfast on the beach then flight back to UK for the CL match tomorrow afternoon.
I have decided to assign the 62 SP for Petersen and 86 for Suarez ahead of tomorrow's league game against 2nd place Zardast FC. Suarez's training speed has dropped a bit now the game recognises him as a 7* player. Either that or it's just Suarez being lazy and not wanting to train properly lol...
But anyway, Suarez is on 7*49 (3) and Petersen on 7*48 (18). Number in brackets shows SP for next star
Ac Milan 0-7 July Fourth Cup Last 16, 1st Leg
July Fourth easily beat L12 Ac Milan (not the same Ac Milan I played in the league yesterday) away from home and book the place in the Quarter-Finals with a fine 7-0 win, Zidane got us off running with a superb individual move in the 3rd minute and 10 mins later it was Zidane that helped set Papaleo to curl it past the keeper, Papaleo didnt score again but still had a fantastic game setting up Novotny midway through the first half and also strangely providing our other center defender Adams just after half time, It was a day of injuries as Boccoli picked up a knock for the home team and Crawford going off just moments after Novotnys corner found P.McNamara to a six-pence to score, When Crawford was injured, Kevin Mensah put away the free-kick then in the 83rd minute L.McNamara beat the keeper to score a great goal.
Goals: Zidane (3) Papaleo (13) Novotny (24) Adams (49) P.McNamara (66) Mensah (77) L.McNamara (83) MOTM: L.McNamara.
Crawford out for 4 days... Damn. out of medics. But we may have more tokens tomorrow.
4 new free agents today and tomorrow I will have the new stadium :D
No good news from FC Kneipenkick (German synonym for pub team). The team travelled today to the league leader Albion Addicks. As a formation Albions 4-4-2 faced Kneipenkicks 4-5V-1. The match started slow, but after half an hour the home coach reacted and moved his left winger to AML. Kneipenkick reacted way too late and the home team scored (33.). The away side switched tactics to 4-1-4-1 and could equalize by central midfielder Rasch after preparation by striker Kunz (he is my Pepp Crawford, but I prefared the name Kunz ;) ). Albion Addicks returned to 4-4-2 and FCK to 4-5V-1. With 1-1 both teams went into half time. The Addicks had the better start and could mark the lead once again (54.). FCK coach made a sub (DC for DMC) and switched to 3-2-2-2-1 (DR/DL can also play DML/DMR), but the opponent also immediately countered with a very 4-2CM-AML-AMC-AMR-ST and could extend the lead to 3-1 (80.). Kneipenkicks changed to Hard Attacking, but it only resulted in the 3-2 by Guide Kunz (87.). After that glimmer of hope for a point Kunz got a calm strain injury (probably at celebrating his goal) and is out for 4 days. :( Red boosters will be applied here.
So Albion Addicks is now 9 points away of me (cudos, very good player) and 6 points on rank 2. Kneipenkick fell back on rank 4 and will concentrate on CL qualification this league season.

Scape goats are Evangelos Clemens, who missed all freekicks (3, Albion 1) and defender Lindeborg, who was outperformed by opponents 6 striker Herrera (MOTM).

Here's mine... All 8 away teams seeded won with only 1 home team (KORDELIO FC) scoring a goal.

Pretty much all scores you would expect relating to all the teams quality.
