12 minutes to BIG league game.... hope my boys are still pumped about the earlier win!
2nd place drew, 3rd place won. They swap places for now but go head to head tomorrow, big match that. Our match is in 13 minutes, if we win, we go 8 points clear
Steaua Siret 0-4 July Fourth Champions League Last 16, 2nd Leg (July Fourth win 9-1 on Aggregate)
Steaua Siret 91.9 4-3W-1-2 - July Fourth 99.1 4-2-2-2 Hexagon.
July Fourth completed qualification to the Quarter-Finals with a brilliant 4-0 win over Steaua Siret away from home, One of the rival managers in the competition decided to support the opposition but it was never going to change the outcome of who advances through to the next round, It was another fine defensive display as we only allowed the home side 1 shot on target all game, but we were clearly the better team here, Crawford fired us 1 up after a header from a brilliant L.McNamara cross, Zidane cut inside from the right side and stuck it past the keeper, It was 3-0 when Novotny took a corner to find the Jumping Papaleo in the penalty area to header in for 3-0. We decided to give both wingers L.McNamara and Zidane a rest and brought them off, Crawford looked certain to score his second but when he sensed danger he passed to Mensah to put in the goal to make it 4-0 on 89 mins.
Goals: Crawford (24) Zidane (36) Papaleo (54) Mensah (89) MOTM: Zidane.
Incidently the rival manager who watched and supported my opponents went on to lose his 2nd leg 5-0 and go out. do his rip. We play FC Zywiec in the Quarter-Finals, The 1st Leg to be played away in Zywiec in Poland on Thursday with the return leg to be played at Islington Park in London on Saturday.
We just sold a player for 25m.
League, round 15 - Perfect Tactics 5-0 Lale FC
We go 8 points clear at the top of the table.
Suarez got us an early goal from a corner. We continued to dominate but couldn't find the back of the net for some time but Fabregas made it 2-0 on 32 minutes and then Cazorla scored from a corner a few minutes later. Cazorla got his second after the break, a wonderfully worked goal from the a counter attack. Cazorla got his hat trick after Petersen's pass put him through and made no mistakes putting away the chance. Routine win.
Goals: Suarez (5'), Fabregas (32'), Cazorla (38', 47', 66')
MOTM: Cazorla
Gonna post a screen as I do not remember what I allready posted and what not of today and the past few days.

Tuesday Round-Up
LGE: TONGFANG UNITED 0-1 LONDON CITY
Still unbeaten and 4 clear, after this tough match against #4. Dave Kennedy got the only goal after just 3 minutes. After that, it was a case of stale mate, with very few chances for either side. DC, Jan Fredriksen collected m.o.m award.
CL: LONDON CITY 8-0 PS NUSAKAMBANGAN (agg: 8-2).
After the disappointment of losing the 1st leg, the team put up a much better display tonight. The first leg deficit was wiped out early on by Marcus Bentley (7') and Jan Fredriksen (11'). After that we went into cruise control, scoring 3 more (Paul Edmonds 18 & 28), and Seamus Flanagan (34), before the break. The second half continued in the same vain, with further goals coming from Edmonds again for hat-trick (54), and two more for Flanagan to also complete a hat-trick (80 & 83pen). Edmonds rightly claimed m.o.m.
Today's league match was a welcome result against a team I have struggled against in the league over the last 4 seasons. Still 4 points clear of second place and now 11 clear of 3rd.
We were nervous going into our 2nd leg Champ League game, after losing the first leg away by 0-2. But those quick goals at the start, helped us regain our composure. While hoping for a win, I didn't expect it to be so convincing as the score suggests, but we were really proffessionsl tonight, unlike last time.
Our league game today was a road test against the squad where this brainless manager learned
that formations can't be changed within 3 minutes of game time :o
So in an attempt to make sure that the same mistake didn't cost us like it did at home... all was
well accounted for...
The opposing manager... usually a prompt arrival... was late today... he arrived just before the half and took
control of possession by his presence.... we were up 0-1 at that point... 2nd half would be different...
2nd half the boys went on to tally 3 more, including a converted penalty.... and we take it 0-4 and remain
solidly in 2nd place!
Chika bow wow! Balkan Boyz playing Q- finals in CL ..... :p

Big scoring day for FC Kneipenkick
League: F.C. Kneipenkick - Women F.C. 6-1
The 2nd in league Women F.C. visited today Kneipenkicks ground. Yesterday her very nice run of 10 wins a row ended with a 1-3 home defeat against the 8th in table Wolf FC (a good team that underperformed so far). Today Kneipenkicks manager Chris Rath gave Dominik Afriyie, a 20 years 4* one-on-one-striker, some trust after a good performance in a test match yesterday. Afriyie paid back the trust, made a double pack and prepared another - MOTM with rating 9. Other goals by Sandor, Lindeborg, Rubin de Toledo and Garcia. With this nice win Kneipenkick took position 2 in the league since the 1st in 3rd in table tied today 2-2. :)
CL: FC Kneipenkick - Tripoli City 3-0 (first leg 2-1 - aggregate 5-1)
Big respect to the manager of the Greek side. He went all in with a 3W-4-3 formation after Kneipenkick could grap a close 2-1 away win on Sunday and activated a friend to support him. Kneipenkick played a 4-4-2 and both teams had chances at the start of the match. Tripoli midfielder Kanellopoulos was sadly a bit too motivated and fouled Rasch very rough in minute 15 (ACL injury, 4 days out :( ), yellow card. Playmaker Gürser replaced Rasch, a good move as we see later. At the other side Kanellopoulos was still too motivated and did another rough foul. Gladly nobody got injured that time, but yellow-red for him (25.). Kneipenkick took at once advantage. Sandór scored with a distance goal (25.) and Gürser made another before half-time (43.). Kneipenkick took a bit the gear out of the match to risk no further injuries, some substitutes came in, and Kneipenkick could only get one further goal by Hungarian striker Purt (67.).
In the round of the last 8 Kneipenkick faces Spanish side "Real r cedi FC", that could turn today a 1-2 loss at one of my friends with a 7-1. So Kneipenkick will be warned and tries to continue the CL run. In the league we will travel tomorrow once more to England and face Robert FC.
[Re- posting]
I have a couple of questions, that I hope you guys can help me with.
Yesterday i bought 5 youngsters (all 5star players, 18yrs or 19 yrs old and a quality between 28 and 29 perfect/excellent) for ca:9M (free tokens converted into £) and thought/considered to PT them until the end of the season (last game scheduled the 9/3).. Ps. Matija Nastasić not included (but I would be grateful if somebody had a opinon how to improve him as well).
So, how much time&packs will I need to get them at quality 30/ 31 or maybe add a *star (if it´s possible)?
Here are some screen´s.

Ps. I´am a lvl2 player
Two home games for Massie Lodge over night which is ceratinly a change.
We hosted a Turkish outfit in the League & despatched them back home with their tails between their legs, giving them a 5-0 drubbing in comfortable fashion. The manager was so confident of victory he declined to even watch the midnight match.
The Champions League second leg was another kettle of fish going in 1-1 after a drawn first leg. Playing 451V against our French opponents 4-3N-1-2, Massie Lodge attacked in the first 45 minutes to no avail with the scores locked 0-0 at half time. The manager altered the mentality to normal for the second period which seemed to do the trick with 2 unanswered goals progressing the Green & Gold into the final 8. After being unceremoniously dumped in the last 16 last season, this was an important victory for the Club.
Another big League match tonight (at midnight again so manager will not be present), away from home. As we continue to knock off the second placed teams, another steps up to take their places so we again face second placed Turkish outfit tonight. A win would see us climb some 10 points clear at the top so victory is important although not imperative, a draw will do just fine. Still, we don't want to give the opposition a glimpse of hope now, do we.
:)

Once again.... impatient....
Oh yeah... squad is Avg 20.0 now.... I guess 4th star comes at 20.1 D'oh!
Here is our 1/8 Finals (Last 16) 2nd leg results
http://i51.tinypic.com/2m3qjrc.png
I've been on the Power Training again...
L.McNamara has reached 8*105, Currently the 2nd highest rated player at the club.
http://i51.tinypic.com/693q8g.png
I'm in 2 minds whether to push this player all the way to 9* next season, Papaleo will be 26 next season and will be effectively out of the age window to Power Train your players, I noticed this with Zidane when he turned 26 this season, he's growth of a player slowed down by about 1/3rd but I still trained him the 50 points for AMR position.
Another good candidate to get to 9* next season will be Mensah.
Training Update: Ladies and Gentlemen... We have a 9* Star Legend
Stacey Papaleo has just reached 9*110... 9* LEGEND.
This is the 2nd time Papaleo has reached legend status.
http://i55.tinypic.com/9r1vr4.png
Papaleo's Stats on reaching 9*110...
http://i51.tinypic.com/212sd44.png
Papaleo is 25 years old, Which is the latest age you can effectively power train players all the way to 9*, This means it will be likely to be the last time that the player is at 9*. We expect Papaleo to be in our squad into the early 30's.
I spent the last 30 skill points on Papaleo's defence skills, hopefully resulting in more consistency and the ability to score more goals by the player having less of an imbalance.
July Fourth 5-0 FC CHUJEMUJE CUP Quarter-Finals 2nd Leg (July Fourth win 9-1 on Aggregate)
July Fourth 99.3 4-2-2-2 Hexagon - FC CHUJEMUJE 82.0 3W-1-3W-1-2
An easy routine win for July Fourth in the CUP to get into the Semi-Finals with an emphatic 5-0 win over CHUJEMUJE, We opened the scoring early through Crawford squaring up Papaleo in the area to score to put us 1 up, CHUJEMUJE had a couple of corners but we headed the danger out wit no problems, Then Papaleo was booked which left CHUJEMUJE with a free-kick which was again headed away from danger, Kevin Mensah scored a long range effort from 25 meters in the 35th minute and a minute later he done it again, Our 2 goals in the second half came rather late on, A foul from Kaya on the edge of the area gave us a Kevin Mensah free-kick which he scored and completed his hatrick and then P.McNamara's through ball found L.McNamara who hit it cleanly past the keeper to make it 5-0. Fedorin for CHUJEMULE should of got a consolation but he put it wide.
Goals: Papaleo (11) Mensah (35,36,79) L.McNamara (82) MOTM: Mensah.
We will most likely play Eragon Team in the Semi-Finals with the 1st Leg in Wola Jablonska in Poland on Sunday with the return leg at Islington Park, London on Tuesday morning. Thats of course They hang on to a 3-0 lead going into the second leg against PAOK who are 8 quality higher than Eragon Team.
