Thursday Match Results.
LGE: MEDWAY TOWN 0-4 LONDON CITY.
Routine win against a side with only 1 point prior to the game. Marcus Bentley opened the scoring after 5 minutes, and from then on, it was a case of how many more we could get. Seamus flanagan bagged a brace on 37 & 44), to make it 0-3 at the interval. We just went through the motions after that, until centre back, Aaron Martin popped up to finish the scoring on 85. Man of the match award went to Jan Fredriksen, more for his central display than for his defending role.
CL: GM2FC 1-4 LONDON CITY.
We took a giant step towards qualification for the knock-out stages, with a workman-like performance tonight. Lukas Duran scored first half goals (3 & 30), to relieve the tension. City stuttered at the start of the second period, and allowed our opponents to get one back after 60 minutes, but we soon got back into our stride with further goals from Seamus Flanagan (70), and Willem Gentile (85), to put us top of the group with 6 points, 3 ahead of the 2 teams we have now played. Willem Gentile picked up the M.O.M awrd.
I thought before the league started that it was going to be very competitive, and so far it has turned out that way. There are 4 of us, tied at the top with 7 points. So after only three games played, no team has a 100% record.

Season 47...........Manager Level 33
Massie Lodge clambered to the top of the Level 8 League this morning following a hard fought & nail biting 1-0 home win over the visiting Turkish outfit. Clearly dominating the contest possession 61-39 & shots 18-10, the lads made hard work of the victory that will however mean plenty come seasons end I am sure. Similar to Raykco, our League will be a very tight contest all season & every victory is vitally important with any one of 6 or 7 teams serious contenders for the title. On 7pts, Massie Lodge are only 1pt clear of 5 rivals who share second on 6pts.
I small tweak in tactics seemed to rectify the scoring issue in the following CL match, with Massie Lodge easily accounting for their English opponent at home 5-0.
No regrets

League: Dalby United 3-0 Sigon
Goals: Selliti 6', Stefanutto 49' 73'. MOM: Selliti
The match started well for Dalby United as their first goal came from their first shot. Some brilliant wing play by Galliozzi allowed him to get in a well placed cross for Selliti to head home. The game slowed and not many chances were made until in the 49' an unexpected shot from Stefanutto from more than 30 yards out curled past the keeper. It was Stefanutto again who sank the teams third, and his second after cutting inside from a run down the flank.
Manager: "I was just about to let Stefanutto go as he has been playing below par. However this performance shows he is back in form and proves to me that he deserves a place in this squad."
Champions League: Mexico FC 0-3 Dalby United
Goals: Marques 28', Corbisiero 40', Mekikov 63'. MOM: Galliozzi Injuries: Ogunkoyo (2 days)
It was all Mexico FC at the start of this match before Marques hit them on the counter, beating numerous defenders and slotting it past the keeper. From this point on, Dalby United was easily the better team. Corbisiero scored his debut goal after making the most of a mistake by the opposing defenders 5 minutes before half time. Newly signed Mekikov also proved how valuable he will be for the team after a bemusing run before scoring his first goal for United.
Manager: "By resting Simaga in this game, it proved to other teams that we can still score goals without him. It's no good when a whole team revolves around one player."
Transfer News:
- Baltazaar Ramalho has been sold to SV Bohemen for the low price of 46k. The aging DC/DR had not featured in any game for the team this season.
- Australian MR/AMR Steven Jones has signed with the club. The 30 year old cost 272k and 2 tokens.

KOJLEKOV FC 0-6 July Fourth League Round 4
Both teams went into this game at 3-0-0 in the league in 1st and 2nd, but it was far from a game that reflected this as a top of the table battle as July Fourth dominated this one from start to finish, The first real chance on goal came on 12 minutes when Papaleo broke through the defence and placed it past the keeper to give us the lead, Then L.McNamara still continuing his great run of form in scoring yet again after finding his way into space to finish it, Papaleo just before half time had the ball from our counter attack and found the goal again, The second half was more of the same, Papaleo on a hatrick played it Novotny to make it 4-0 instead of going for glory, Kevin Mensah scored another magnificent free-kick, We brought off 3 players for a rest including Mensah midway through second half but there was still time for Zidane to play a wonderful pass to the inform L.McNamara to also get a brace.
Goals: Papaleo (12,43) L.McNamara (26,77) Novotny (47) Mensah (57) MOTM: Papaleo

Club News
Since David Rocastle (MR) is unlikely to feature in many of our games this season we have decided to take the decision to sell Bjorn "Lazy" Benoit for $36million who is our other MR player who will certainly not play any part this season, so we think its best to let the player leave the club he had a good record of scoring goals in his first 2 seasons at the club but last season so him drop behind the selection order with the purchase of Rocastle and also with our new system of playing 4-2-2-2 hexagon which Zidane is currently holding the AMR role after the purchase of Crawford. Benoit scored over 40 goals for the club in playing in the region of somewhere around 100 games for the club. he earned the reputation of being called "Lazy" Benoit after a poor start to the club with many 4-5 form ratings in his first 20 games before he was dropped to the subs for a few games and on his return he became excellent with free-kicks before Mensah became our main free-kick taker.
2 of our games have been re-arranged for 4T...
League game tomorrow kicks off a 9.40pm GMT instead of 3.40pm GMT and on monday our champions league home game kicks off at 4.00pm GMT instead of 9.00 GMT, this is to avoid any immediate clash with league games and the important 2 CL group games against sentepespor FC.
