One of my teams just won the Cup and, for the first time on any of my 3 teams, straight after the match I got a pop up message about the New Achievements feature and the team now has the Achievements tab in the manager bar. Still doesn't show any progress yet but either something is happening just now or the win was a trigger or its just another coincidence.

It probably still being tested, otherwise we already had oficial anoucement here.

Look at what McS said on the other thread - only Triple Crown and Old School are back-dated - the rest are from when it was introduced (today for me):

Slight correction, it will for the Triple Crown and Old School Achievements. For the rest will start from zero. Some advantage for old managers, some advantage for everyone else too!

Just go to the category Manager then History, click a few times on the arrows for example at the cup box (green one) switch to another category (like league) and switch back. Then it should appear ;-)

How's it possible that one of my ingame friends already has several achievements whereas I have to unlock every single one again?!

Maybe he was one of the early testers, so his stats for it go back longer?

Yeah, I'm sad it didn't count more of the things we have already achieved, for long time players it's rough cos we have to achieve twice.
