Your opponent must have given max player bonus. You might not have given any thinking this is an easy match. I sometimes beat stronger opponents in cl doing this. But 20pt diff esp if you are in low level should be too much to overcome.

First her are the ratings and I have calculated the average quality for the squad the played in the match and here are the results:
my squad: 36.2 his squad 19.8.

Second, if I'm underestimating my opponent then I wouldn't put my best players in the match.
and about the DMC thing I substituted him after conceding the first goal to a MC! with no arrows.
