Mid season analysis
1. What is your current team position in the league?
1st
2. Still inspiring to win the league or your league objectives have changed at the end of mid season?
Yes, but i am also trying to play some of my younger squad to develop them for next season, this means swapping in lower quality players over old players. 2nd place is currently 4 points behind me with a slightly weaker squad but he is constantly improving so i have to take it day by day in deciding my tactics. I also play him in round 21 so making sure my squad is well rested for that fixture could hopefully secure me the league. I am also hopeful of progressing to the CL finals but it will not be easy, especially after my squad was knocked out of the cup last round 0-2 and 1-2 with full moral/condition/winbonus/counter formation in the 2nd match.
3. What is the key element of your team success or failure at the end of 13 league matches?
An outstanding striker that was golden boot last season and is on track again this season. Also prize money from last season has ensured i can strengthen my squad and invest in young talent.
4. Which formation is giving your team trouble?
any stronger team playing 3 defenders seem to score at least 2-3 goals against me which is hard to match if their midfield/defense is rated higher.
5. Your favorite formation
4-1-2-2-1 (v) has been great for me last season and parts of this season, while 4-1-2-1-2 (narrow diamond) has also been moderately successful when i want to incorporate 2 strikers in.
I envy you! You are scoring 600+ away goals in one match. Either you leave or I leave!
