Champions League: Buffs FC won 1-0 away from home in the CL 1st leg.

The opposition were set up pre-match in 4-1-4-1 so Buffs Mad elected to send the boys out in a 4-4-2 Defensive Counterattacking formation, however, a couple of mins before the end of the preparation phase the opponent changed to 4-5-1V and therefore the Buffs adopted an attacking 4-3N-3.

The Buffs took the lead on 35 mins with low 5* reserve striker Dalglish stealing the limelight from his more illustrious colleagues.
(When Dalglish plays one-off matches he shines but can not be relied on to perform day in day out, except in the CL where he's scored 7 from 5 this season.)

Nothing much of note happened thereafter. Buffs Mad did note that every recorded tackle in the first half was a foul, 6/6, and with Tackling at Normal he was at a loss what to do - FKs have cost us dear this season. So only thing he could do was change from Attacking to Normal. in the second half the Buffs clocked up 10 more tackles for only 1 foul.

Pretty boring scond half really: Law stoated a FK off the bar and McLeish managed to take the ball the length of the pitch only to balloon it over - numpty.

    Goals: Dalglish (35).

we won a chopped in the CL!! 0-2, and the other dominates with lots of shoots, but I have it, I taked it since some matches before this, when the other dominates, put very defensive, long passing, right side, too I changed the captain, and he scored. is somehing like scenarios, one have to decide. FUUU** yee :3

we are 90% in CL semifinals, and now I will add the new DR that I bought after seellll a young DC to have space.
Ma girls are doing an eccccxcellent season :3

well I added the new DR, Camarce, coz I sold the young, he played 5 matches before with a 9-8-7-7-7.... hope that will keep these numbers and if he was in better club now he won Quaity in stars so have to have an 8-9 next matc :3

as u can see the 11 usuual dont have lots of 6 ratings, 7 or + :3

I say always that after 22 seasons I'm a happy successful & prestigious manager that play at my mode, play light, without stress, and I reached the glory.

But to have the excellance as a manager in this game I need 2 things, a 9 stars player, and a treble.
This season, I can have the 2 things, if Cocu win the 110Q. at level 15, and ma go go girls are on fire...

if that happen, I will add in ma signature, "yeah, I won a treble with a team of Cheerleaders" :3
now lets go for some popcorns :3

    Galactico FC Update:
Champions League: The largely anticipated CL match had Galactico FC contesting against Gia Bao FC in the first leg of the quarter finals with the Galacticos playing away, so goals were a priority in this match set up to keep a clean sheet while also scoring a couple ourselves. Instructions were laid out in training and pre-game as the Galacticos manager again knew he would not be attending the game.

The players obliged with an outstanding 3-0 victory that enabled them to have one foot in the semi-final of the CL. The Galacticos experimented with testing out 4-1-3N-2 against the opponent 4-1-2-1-2 narrow diamond. The manager decided to test the formation as he saw what happened to the league leaders capitulate against this formation against the team in 4th who countered using 4-1-3N-2 and it worked! The manager may now start to use this formation against the ND

DMC Goku and DC Fondyke both received yellow cards on the 13th and 15th minute due to the manager instructing his players to break up the opponents rhythm and tackle hard. In hindsight it was quite worrying having them booked this early and risking a red card so early in the game, but the players showed great maturity and professionalism to remain on the pitch for the rest of the game.

ST Meftouh was at the heart of it all and contributed in all 3 goals with a goal in the 34th and 63th minute from the penalty spot after the opponent handballed in the box from a corner. He then turned provider and assisted ST Lier for the third in the 77th minute to seal victory, the manager will be delighted with the progress made in both CL and Cup competitions so far.

League: The tactics used for the league match is identical to the one used for the CL earlier in the day with the team in 12th also deciding to play the ND so the Galacticos will now always counter with a 4-1-3N-2

The game resulted in a 9-0 away victory for the Galacticos with ST Lier grabbing a hat-trick and two assists with a fantastic display of skill and determination. He outshined ST Meftouh who had a relatively quiet game by his standards and now the manager sets his sights on COLD BLOOD REVENGE on the team in 8th who beat us 1-0 in the return fixture earlier in the season. The Galacticos manager aims to field his strongest XI and max win bonus + counter formation to humiliate the opponent.

I will report the result tomorrow with hopefully the greatest satisfaction until they face the leaders four days from now.

Major disappointment is also that all the teams around me won today, so no grounds gained or lost! All is hope

League: 0-4 win! Today I had to play the team that had beaten me 0-4 at my stadium on matchday 4. So it was time for revenge today, and what better way to take revenge than to beat him 0-4 at his stadium. It could have been a much higher score, but his goalie saved a lot of chances. (10' 0-1, 66' 0-2, 75' 0-3, 87' 0-4)

My stats: 64% ball possession, 23 total shots, 13 shots on target, 0 saves
His stats: 36% ball possession, 4 total shots, 1 shots on target, 5 saves

    Academy FC UPDATE:

Champions League - In CL play last night, AFC (30.7*) hosted Tran FC (28.8) in the first leg of the quarter finals. The game was mostly uneventful; a couple first half yellow cards for AFC, and a first half injury for TFC. Finally, in the 88th minute, Martins from AFC found the back of the net, and that turned out to be the winner. Now, AFC must make sure they put on a solid performance in the 2nd leg tomorrow.

Leage Play - Academy FC (7th place) hosted Milan (30.3*, 4th place) in a league match today. Tom Lorenze from AFC scored in the 28th minute. After a 1st half injury to Milan, and an early 2nd half yellow card, AFC scored again in the 76th minute, sealing the victory. The victory puts AFC in 6th place (tied on points but behind in goal differential to 4th and 5th place). 3rd place is only 2 points ahead, with ast and 2nd both 5 points ahead. AFC hosts Gagarzy (19.9*, last place and winless all season) this evening. Subs and reserves have been inserted into the starting lineup to help morale and rest starters.
