Cup: Celtic Rangers win the Cup with a 2-1 victory. Superstar Andy Thomson's scoring rate has crashed lately as he has become the victin of bully boys with 3 injuries in 3 matches, but scored the winner before being stretchered off. Midas McGonnigal said "We have the medics on stand-by for Thomson, let's hope he can stay injusy free in the league and get over the 80 goals in a season mark.

League: Thomson is crocked again after 20 mins and fails to score but CR go on to a 8-0 win and remain in pole position. Thomson needs 4 goals in the final match to get to 80 goals from 2 competitions - will McGonnigal pull out all the stops to get him fit?

i have a dilemma for tomorrow two player`s on my friends list are 6th and 7th and only 3 point`s clear of 8th who not on my list but 8th have better goal difference than 6th and 7th now i can`t help 6th result but i play 7th who i could help by placing reserves on so he could win but i`l feel like a cheat or play my normal game and have a clear mind that i played fair

well i won`t have to feel guilty if i beat my friend now as 8th lost and no-one else can over take him in the league

any one know how to beat 4-1(CM)-3(LCR-AM)-2 ? i have always bad memories, but today opponnent can only play these 2 formations

Finally able to connect to the forum after work's internet connection spent a week not liking the site.


Rugby's Better have guaranteed 3rd place (with a chance of making 2nd) in the league, following a tough, tough season against one massive token buyer, and about 8 or 9 other active managers with decent 1st XIs. A season like that has a fair few "what ifs", but ultimately the Token buyer had more than enough quality to win out (at least the rest of us denied him a perfect season) unless I'd spent another 300 tokens on scouts/personal trainers. It's been a fun, tough fight though, so roll on next season!

my plan for next season IF i`m placed in level 22 instead of level 21 i`m going to give it a go in all 3 comps ago and save skill point`s for the following season where i will give up my team, so the season next i will the add skill on so players are 1 skill away from next star and sell on for extra tokens so when i take over new team i will have as many tokens as possible for the new lower team, so i really hope i`m level 21 this new season as i`v worked hard for 2 yrs on this team

I BLAME Nordeus for this decision because they have screwed up league level`s for those that ARE NOT at the top of their server

honestly Piky FC at 2nd and 4th are mine too . both with my main got 1st, 2nd & 3rd place at league a couple season ago but separated last season . this season back in to the same pool again but can only get 1st, 2nd & 4th place .

LEAGUE UPDATE:

Academy FC played at Mumbai Indians last night. The game was very quiet, with nothing to note in the first half (aside from a couple missed opportunities). AFC was desperate for the win, so in the 58th minute, one MC was subbed off for a more "forward" type MC. Ten minutes later, the other MC was subbed off and replaced with an AMC. In the 80th minute, Mumbai Indians player Klappert received a red card for spitting. AFC converted the free-kick to go up 1-0. One forward was replaced by a fresher forward (I had arranged the sub prior to the red card and goal) in the 81st minute for AFC. Mumbai pulled a goal back in teh 84th, before AFC scored again in the 87th. Somehow, Mumbai scored AGAIN in the 88th minute, and the matched ended 2-2

This puts AFC at 52 points, 2 points behind 1st (who has a game in hand), 2 points ahead of 3rd, and 3 points ahead of 4th (both without the game in hand). It seems the soccer gods do not want me to win the league; they would like to see me suffer for 2nd. [*It should be noted that the team put out in this game was subs/reserves as the CL final was 4 hours later*]

CHAMPION'S LEAGUE:
Academy FC (31.8*) played at Franco FC Genoa (24.0*) in the CL final. Niyokindi of AFC scored in the 1st minute. Franco tied the match in the 24th, before AFC pulled ahead again in the 26th. Niyokindi found the net again in the 30th to put AFC up 3-0. Shortly after half, Carrasco of Franco FC received a red card, and AFC scored 2 minute later to go up 4-1, which ended up being the final score.

Looking back at these two matches, it seems I should have used my subs/reserves for the CL match and not the league match. Of course, hindsight is always 20/20 . . .
