Cup: Buffs FC successfully negotiate passage to the Qualifying rounds with a 5-3 away win (7-3 agg).

The Buffs set out in 4-1-3N-2 against the opposition 4-WD.

The home side opened the scoring in 14 minutes but the Buffs relpied quickly from a corner in 17 mins. Buffs took the lead in 33 mins but that was short-lived as the equaliser came on the 37th. As the match enterred the second half and since the opposition required 3 more goals Buffs Mad elected to switch to 4-5-1V. The wingers were on after 57 mins and the one on the left scored on 58 mins and again in 64 mins. Buffs Mad fiddled again asking his team to defend and counterattack for the last 20 mins. The home side had a flurry of attacks and McGregor made 2 saves before they pulled 1 back on the 82nd. So the switch back to Normal mentality was made and the clock ran down.

    Goals:
    McCoist (17), Law (33), Baxter (59, 64)
    Garten (14), Hunt (37), Demuth (32)

Cup: After missing the 1st leg match and seeing his unsigned squad replaced by aged strangers Midas McGonnigal took charge over Celtic Rangers' 9-0 home win.

What have you learned from last season?
Playing in a league with lots of engaged players who're moderate token buys/farmers is fun & challenging. Even if we were all fighting over 2nd place after we drew a megabuyer.

Persisting for 2 seasons with a fast training, non-performing MC (no matter what midfield combo he played) was stubborn, I should have sold him off much sooner.

Assigning 220 skill points (I stopped assigning points for the reserves once we went out of both cups, and for the 1st XI once we were guaranteed at least 4th) at once is tedious, but has hopefully prevented a completely mental Cup draw.

Where did you place last season?
League:3rd, 1 point behind 2nd. I had the 2nd best (on average)squad - though others could match my 1st XI, and I missed points in a couple of games where I rested guys for CL/Cup matches.
Cup - out in the 3rd round, an improvement on the previous season.
CL - out in the 1st knockout round on away goals after forgetting to change orders when changing XIs after the day's league match.

    What's your current level?
    10

What's your budget for this season?
Started the season with 220 tokens and $105m in the bank. Have bought a couple of scouts, and a couple of players in the market, so down to 125T (TapJoy on iPad was being quite nice to farmers yesterday) & $85m.

Who do you want to replace?
Still need a DL/DC to round out the squad (I'm holding the space until Thursday when my academy is due to send 2 players), and there's another 2 or 3 guys who're out of contract at the end of this season who're unlikely to be competitive if I promote to L11. That said, everyone currently in the squad should handle L10 fairly well.

My GK has took a drop in quality. It is almost time to replace him. Being in another forward. Basically add some depth to the team. The best 11 are very good, but the bench is very poor.

What are your goals for this season?
League - will see after the draw is done, but aiming to win the thing unless we get another really big spender.
Cup - as per usual we're in a league with L11s and the odd L12, but will aim to fight on as far as possible. We've cleared the opening round 2-1 on aggregate, so on the way!
CL - getting out of our group should be fairly easy, so that's a minimum.

    *BLEEP* the CUP, nuff said!

All that work for nothing, managed to hold my CUP level for 3 seasons, keeping my team weak on purpose, whilst still wining the League and in turn losing two CL early trolling because of my teams weakness, just to be knockout of the CUP again first round!

I blame myself, miss day one AGAIN, overslept lost 0-1, and draw the second leg against a same level team! ARRRRGGGGHHHH!

Assigned all my cones, bought 2 scouts, 2 killer transfers for nothing!

So I'm back to my old self, TRAIN, FARM and BUY my wins! I will DOMINATE through sheer raw TOKEN POWER, no more mister nice guy, I'm tired.

    BUY BUY BUY Aashfkhaoheabfa93haohpbab;asfnflhf[asobfa[f[sb[abfwb0sb2384oiehklavw0350!

Before we start, here's some questions for you:

What have you learned from last season?
I learned that showing up to matches can be the difference between being a league champion and 2nd place . . . Oh, and that playing in the Cup against teams two levels higher sucks :-(
Where did you place last season?
    League - 2nd, CH. Leage - 1st, Cup -Qualifiers
    What's your current level?
    Level 4 (hopefully in a L4 league . . . )
What's your budget for this season?
Budget? I already spent that on a new DMC, so it's currently 1.53M
Who do you want to replace?
No starters; need depth at DL and possible a new ST
What are your goals for this season?
    As always, win everything!

    Good luck fellow managers!
    Cup Update:
Academy FC (32.6*, Level 4) drew Dikk a szaja fc (32.2*, Level 6) in the Cup Preliminary round. AFC played away the first leg and managed a 3-2 victory. The home leg was this morning at 10 (I was unable to watch due to a work meeting) but the team came away witha 2-0 victory in front a full capcity crowd (time to up ticket prices!). Each of the five goals scored so far were scored by different players as well, which is positive (in my mind).

    Galactico FC update
Cup (Preliminary): The Galacticos crashed out of the cup on the first round of defending their trophy they won on the previous season by penalties after a 2-2 aggregate draw against a stubborn opponent. They were ruthlessly and expertly punished for not signing a player on the first two days of the transfer window season(Which on every season up to now the Galacticos were on a buying frenzy) as they set their targets on free agents instead. This was the earliest exit of the cup for the Galacticos manager and Galactico FC since season 3 (Qualifying round). Both matches ended 1-1 home and away with the opponent gaining a home advantage on the 2nd leg and scoring all his penalties while the Galacticos missed two.

Home tie: Galacticos lined up 4-5-1V against opponent 4-4-2

ST Meftouh kept up his scoring form with a free kick but after half time MC Kosmala brought down his player in the penalty area and subsequently conceded a penalty on which they went on to score and despite the non-appearance by the opponent and 3 subs made by the Galacticos manager, the score remained till full-time

    Goals: ST Meftouh 18'

Away tie: The Galacticos were TROLLED out of the cup through penalties and under controversial circumstances. The Galacticos lined up 4-1-3N-2 against 4-5-1 classic

ST Meftouh once again opened the scoring early in the game and the score remained 1-0 for almost the entire match,
Midway through the match the opponent changed their formation to 4-3W-3 as we know is ILLEGAL and he played 30 in game minutes on this formation and the Galacticos DID NOT take advantage of this error. Subsequently the Galacticos manager requested substitutes to bring onto the game on the 84th minute and change mentality to defensive, however straight after the orders were saved the opponent somehow scored from outside the box to bring the tie even stevens.

Words cannot describe how angry the Galacticos manager was at the time with poor defending leading up to the goal and the team could not hold out for a clean sheet. However the most IMPORTANT thing that irritated the Galacticos manager was that the subs were not BROUGHT ON until EXTRA-TIME! (WTF NORDEUS? WHY SO LATE) and this change also ruined the formation change the Galacticos manager was planning as the subs were meant to be brought on BEFORE THE GAME ends to hold out the lead.

Pretty much nothing happened in extra-time, with the Galacticos manager angry at his team's lack of instinct on their play with 80% possession, eventually the tie went to a penalty shootout, the second ever in the history of Galactico FC. Here is where it gets really annoying the connection somehow DISCONNECTED for the Galacticos manager and he could not set the penalty kick taker order for the game. In addition, he couldn't return to the game until the pens finished (Did the opponent hack my connection or what?!) and found out that my first two penalty kick takers missed both their pens and the opponent scored all his to knock the holders off the competition on the first round.

Thats what Nordeus? 6 successive penalties the opponent scored in succession in these two ties? Get LOST! GK IS SOLD AND NEVER TO PLAY FOR GALACTICOS AGAIN

Have no idea why I bothered putting in 5 suggestions to Nordeus, actually did research to help them better understand their system design flaws.

No one is going to read it, no one with the authority to change anything will read it.

Just did it, because that is all we can do.
