Can I use my unsigned skill points for better next season’s CUP draw ?

Hi my friends.
I feel kind of obligate to give a feedback to the people who bother to give me advices and other forum members who are asking about the Cup draw so I will share with you my tactic.
As I said, I study this post and this season I decide to do it like Beckstar.

This is the team I won the league and after I played CH.L. final () I started selling players. That gave me a lot of cash



I also bought any low Q players free agents I found, plus a gift – a 2* academy player (GK again). Probably I ‘m the only one who was happy getting academy player, last day of the season.
So the last hours of the season (at level 4) my team ended up like this (4*, about 35Q plus 100 unsigned skill points I kept so to sign first some new contracts). The team as ended.



Previous season (lv3) when I finished with a team similar like picture no 1, I started my (lv4) Cup in lv 7 . So I disqualified on the second round by a team 2 lv above.

There was a risk that I might had an early Cup game with my team uncompleted.

The good news : My Cup draw match was noon and in my Cup there were many lv5 teams (like me) many lv6 but not high Q and I spotted 2-3 lv7. There too many teams so I didn’t check every one.
The bad news : no good Nordgen in the market, bidding wars for 3rd class youngsters and mercenaries ( I call that way 24-28 y.o. , 5* players, slow trainers, descent players for 1st team or rotation, many of them x-scouts).

I bought an agent/scout , MC with F-K sa and 2 mercs 5*, one in 2nd round and the other in 8th round and played my first Cup match with 12 basic players (enough to make a sub so take the green) and won a 6lv team. It was weaker ½ star.

Today I found early in the morning , (7 a.m. for Greece -5 a.m. GMT) my first nordgen. This happened accidentally.
I check the market –nothing. After a few minutes check again and suddenly I saw his auction ending in 8’ min. Another manager (a “loaded” one)was already there. The player was 18 y.o., 5* MC, with value 9M’.
After a bidding war of 9T (for me- the other guy in 2-3 rounds was hitting twice) and doing the “leader” trick , he was mine.

I gave him a new name and nationality – “DIRCEU” from the legendary Brazilian player of World Cup 1978/1982. (my team is dedicated to Brazilian legends).

After that, today I played the second Cup game (out), I won again and waiting for the next opponent with the hope I will not fall into a lv7 player who decided to rebuild his team.
This is my team now, with some mercs and rest fast trainers, hopping for a few more good nordgens.
