if you win a level, your 6* players will loose a star and will win one year of age, so, yeah, they will train a little bit faster because they lost a star. Aprox. when a player win a star the % of proggress that win a player in training is reduced a 30%.
In the case of the 8* to 9* I can say a 50% looking that my player Cocu won +30%in hard training match practice and now won 15%, so, as all players Cocu will have 8* again next season and will recovery speed training again. Maybe not all, but, will recovery, and more reason for that if is young.

Not true... When a young fast trainer gets a star skill progression reduces by 1%, 2% or 3% of skill gain (Stretching, Cardio or Practice Match). If his progression range as 4-star is 18-28% (Stretching), at 5-star will be 17-27%, at 6-star will be 16-26%. The highest range border is always 10% from the lowest range border. Its 20% for Cardio training and 30% for Practice match...
    For "flops" calculating is different...

    Example:
    Player stars_______Stretching______Cardio________Practice Match
    4________________16-26%________32-52%_______48-78%
    5________________15-25%________30-50%_______45-75%
    6________________14-24%________28-48%_______42-72%...

    Flops:
    Player stars_______Stretching______Cardio________Practice Match
    4________________8-12%_________16-24%_______24-36%
    5________________7-11%_________14-21%_______21-32%
    6________________6-9%__________12-18%_______18-27%...

Pick any young fast trainer at next season start and you will see the pattern... Write his stats for Stretching, and when he gets a star, write new stats in parallel with old stats and you will see it's only 1% difference (2% if you do hard training)...
