Champions League: Opponent started with a 3n-2n-4-1. I countered with a 3w-4-3. I wasn't too concerned, since that formation to my eye contains an obvious defense flaw and doesn't have a lot of punch offensively. Yet, the opponent's players have been in good form throughout the champions league, winning all 12 matches by a combined margin of 33:2.

At the 30 minute mark, my computer acted weird, losing my connection temporarily. Score was tied 0:0, opponent with a shots advantage 7-2, 1-0 on target. I went to a different CPU, getting back online around the 65th minute, with my team scoring goals in the 45th and 54th minutes for a 2:0 lead. It would remain that way until the 90th minute, when a frantic final push cut the advantage in half. Ultimately, we won the champions league for the 4th time, with a hard fought 2:1 victory.

League: Currently sit 1st, 1 point clear of 2nd, whom we battle later today.

What a interesting day for me.
Celtic has already secured league title so today's defeat against Liverpool 2-1 wasn't painful.
Clermont can't catch 1st place in league, but more important result is Champions League Trophy. Woohoooo What a victory, 4-0 in CL finals, that is something we don't see every day (screenshot 1)
TSGH has tiny chances on paper to catch CL place, but that would be great miracle. Meanwhile TSGH boosts goal difference, why not?
14-0 wins aren't miracle on T11, but DL who scores 5x in one match? Now that's archievement! 5 goals for fullback, fantastic.

Main team had lead for almost whole season when suddenly 3 days ago lost advantage. I though that war for the top of the table is over, but I was wrong, not all battles are fought. Today my direct opponent played draw (1-1), meanwhile I won and recaptured leading position. Tommorow is the most important match of season for this team. ALL ATTAAAAACK!

[July Fourth]

We lose the Champions League final in extra-time and our best player got injured during the match, makes you feel that the game just didn't want us to win it on this occasion.

Last seasons "Double Perfect" signalled the end of glorious times for July Fourth, this season is just a disappointment even if we finish unbeaten in the league. And next season we will be considerably weaker since we only have 380 tokens available and no investments are being made.

top of the table clash tonight for the league title, we have a 1 point lead so I need a draw, we won at home due to a free kick, are pretty similar starting 11's about 9 scouts each although he has younger team and better squad and younger, could just play defensive, but as I have been mugged off in both cup and champs league reckon they will mug me off here too!!!
