69 tokens for scout ?

You have too joking no way in hell will i ever buy scout after the last 22yr old scout that cost the normal 50 tokens and trained slower than a dead donkey, now you have increased it ????

so one question needs to be answered have you increased training for these scout`s to be actually worth spending 69 tokens ?? or do they still train like dead donkey`s

Same with the Mobile. I saw it right after it updated last night (I live in US). The higher fee for the 22-23 year olds while the older players are actually less (some in the 35 range).

The only reason to buy scout players is that they provide an instant 6, almost 7* player who can provide an instant upgrade without a lot of training and have a SA.

They are not long term solutions regardless of their age. I am only a 1st season player but adding a couple of them has helped me buy time to learn the game while winning. 16-1-0 54GF 2GA in league since I got the team to a 5* avg.

I doubt I will be using scout players in later seasons, though the ones I bought will be good players up to lvl 3 without training well. My ST is now a 7* and is getting about 1.5 g/a per game and my RM has 15A as a corner specialist so it isn't like they were useless.

I actually like the new scout list.

It makes people really consider if a player is worth while getting - and it might just stop some from packing out entire teams of scouts without much care, as now it might be a case of actually looking for a player in a position that is needed and weighing up if it is worth while.

On a personal point of view, I often find that as Scouts train slower, a high level 5 star player could be better value than a scout. I often find going on the next season the Scout player is on a par with the high level 5 star player due to the training speed and within 2/3 seasons the scout player has no overall quality on a normal player. Thus as you can now buy older scouts for as little as 39 tokens it could be argued that budget scout management is also available.

I think its up to players to decide if its worth investing in scouts. I think there is some value in the older end ones now, rather than the younger aged ones. Personally I prefer to use high 5 star players rather than scouts, so I cant' say the changes to me look all that bad. In honesty, I do think its slightly better.

Add in the fact that with the new updates to training on phones, it is now possible to power train players a lot quicker (as in it now takes around 7 seconds, compared to an hour for a match training) - it brings up the decision if hording green packs and power training a player up to scout level is a better option than buying a scout outright.

as i said i would not buy scout`s again as they train slower than dead donkey BUT that said If they T11 brought the age down to say 20 and training was a bit better then i might consider buying the odd scout ?? but we all said this over the last few year`s and they still not listened

Hence why you could save up your green packs, pick up a 5 star player that is aged 18/19 off the market who is only one or two cones off being a scout, then power train him using the green packs and make him a very good scout for the fraction of the tokens it would cost to get an older scout on the market.

Instead of spending 69 tokens if its deemed too much, why not convert 50 of the tokens to green packs and power train the younger 5 star players you can pick up instead - that could quite possibly lead people to be able to get cheaper scout rated players in the long term.

I am able to get 15-20 green packs a day from videos on android (I am in the US so I dont know if it is different elsewhere). I have started doing exactly as you described. I am about to finish my very first season. I used several scouts to give me an instant boost (all of them were rated 28-29 so nearly 7* when bought. I would not go that route again because it costs more but at the time it took an hour to train and I didn't have the time to build up slowly without losing.

Now that I have clinched the league title and have the cup final today I started to sell of my lower rated players and anyone I won't use next season and have bought several 18-19 year old players worth $1-2.5M and am training them up to scout level. I have to balance this well though to avoid a bad cup draw next season. I have an avg rating of 22.3(5*) with 21 players right now. I know I will have to get that down as close to 14 as I can and then get some weak bench players to lower my rating before the season ends in a couple days.



I am having trouble finding information on this board. Does anyone have info on all the facility upgrades, the attendance limits per lvl, or what is a good target rating for a starting 11 in lvl 2? I want to keep winning trophy's and I don't think I am gonna be able to do that without doing my homework. I just winged it this season without reading any guides and did very well getting to the cup final and going 16-1-0 down the stretch in league (54GF 2GA). I want to have similar success next season so I really need to know how much I'll need to improve my roster before the season is over so I can make better decisions on who to keep/sell.

Just don't rush building... keep building every time you can afford it. Yes, you want to have good facilities but don't use Tokens.


If you sell off your lower Q guys at the end of the Season your Cup draw will blow. I have always a high Q team and so I have lots of League and CL wins and ONE Cup. There is nothing wrong with keeping lower star guys that perform well! Even a 1 or 2 star guy can get good ratings and contribute to the team. It is more important to get rid of players with bad ratings who don't contribute.


And about the Scouts (back on topic) the idea was to offer some cheaper and to do so they raised some too. I think it's good that there are less expensive ones, but the 69 does seem steep after having gotten the same guy for 50. I do wish they put some younger guys on that list though!
