I've had this player 5/6 seasons and has been a great player for me, but alas I think this may be his last one, he's starting to get left behind. Personally I think this system is stupid, losing a star every season, but of course it's designed to make people spend cash....so kudos to them. He's only 26, so it's a shame, probably keep him as a sub for next season....

For me answer is a yes. When i started playing I had some players that started with me and after 8-9 seasons and with only 1 star they played very, very well, scored and did a great and decisive contribution in some matches. I had a MC called Marcos Sánchez, that was the 1st great player of my team.

If he is getting high ratings and scoring, then keep him. The star rating is not everything. You can spend a lot of tokens and money to get a higher rated player who does not perform. I have a player who is upto nearly 200 games (and only 23) but is almost 10 ratings below everyone else but as long as he does not let me down I will keep playing him.

He is 26... he can probably play well 2 more seasons...

as others said keep playing him. if he stops scoring and his ratings get poor then its time to move him on. I have a striker I picked up last season cheap for 1 token. he was 26 and 5 stars with fk special ability.. He scored 34 league goals. this season he is 27 and 4 star. because of his record last season I kept faith with him. he has scored 12 in 6 league games this season. in a league packed with 6 star scout strikers he is outscoring the lot.

As long as his presence in yr starting 11 doesnt cost u games, and he still contributes then even if he is below 3 stars, he'll be ok... I've kept guys for 8-7 seasons and only really let them go if they start churning out 4 ratings....ahh Matias Madrid... u are missed.

Aye mebbies ah will....I just bought a new striker, in preparation, to cover him....but like you guys have said, if he's scoring and playing well, ah'll keep him in the team, and I have so far this season, and as you can see, he's still pumping the goals in, plus assists and MOTM's.
The new striker is 5 star, and about 2 points from 6 star and have been itching to play him, but Mr Dus just keeps performing....I was 4-0 up at half time couple of gemmes ago and subbed Dus for the new guy, he scored and rated 8....So it's a conundrum, albeit a nice one....But ahm gonna take your guys advice and keep him playing as long as he's churning oot the goals....
