Salary change of signed free agent

My L11 team just signed a quality 63 free agent for salary about 4K. I thought it may be a super fast trainer. After I trained him one round of all 3 types of training, he gained 1 skill point and his quality just reached 64. At the same time, his salary immediately changed from about 4K to 1.07M!

I believe that this is bug that the salary was not accurately shown during auction.

BTW, he is still a very fast trainer. But I will sell him soon because I have a 5* player waiting to be signed, and I sign this free agent because I have this temporary free player slot.

Yes, it's a new bug. I bought this kind of player too. I think it started 2 days ago.
Hoping for a super fast trainer but ...

In auction market, his market price and salary were about 23.7M and 4K respectively. He's looked an very good 18 year old player. His market value is far higher than those of other free agents I saw in this season.

I trained him for several sessions. His training progress are good, around 35-65-100. Unluckily, I do not plan to keep him because I lack tokens or green packs to maximize his potential. But actually his quality (Q64 now) is not too far from those of my 2 other young goalkeepers (Q71 & 73).

I just reloaded the game. His salary has become 4k again

The player was just sold. The new player profile showed that the salary is 4K. I don't know if the player was signed by new team or not. He's not in the line up. I will check again later.

Anyway, 4k is not reasonable salary for this player. I believe his true salary is 1.07M.

This visual bug has been with us a few seasons now.

I signed a bunch of FA's on my level one team, their salaries are super cheap; but his salary with his new team should reflect his actual value & quality, as will his contract renewal if you keep him that long.

If you have a free space in your team, this player will continue with this wage for the next 3 years. If you don't have empty place and sell someone else and then sign with him, then he 'll ask for a different wage (probably about 1 M').

But his wife wasn't very impressed

But for my case, the player's wage was immediately changed from 4K to 1.07M after his quality was changed from 63 to 64. So I believe the low wage is just shown incorrectly.
