not entirely true.

the freekick SA is supposed to increase your ability by one star. so you have a 5* MC with freekick, and when he takes a freekick he will be in the same stat range as a 6*.

There is an Level 15 MR 5* 92Q with FK and he has 95/93 shooting/finish. Will he be better than my Level 16 AMR/MR 5* 97Q with no FK and 97/99 shooting/finish? Based on the nordeus explanation, the 92Q MR should be better statistically taking freekicks because theoretically, he should have a higher shooting/finish when the SA bonus is added to his current numbers. As I am not entirely sure which ability the FK uses, either shooting or finish, I include both. It is a bit hard to determine what a freekick would be, but I would tend to lean towards shooting, but if you see players "finish" it could also be defined that way. Tough call and no explanation from Nordeus of course.

So if you have a 2* FK specialist, and a 5* ST or MC or any 5* for that matter, I would put the 5* player taking FK as the 2* with the bonus would only be equivalent to a 3* player.

and based on what I have said already, nickspeed4, a 3* is not necessarily better at FK than a 2* FK specialist. They would be more or less the same, and I would prefer the 2* with the FK just for the mental effect because they are specialists.
