1. 11th's DC/DMC 2. 4th's (me) ST 3. 12th's DC/DMC 4. 2nd's MC 5. 9th's DC/DMC
This is a competitive league, low GDs with many draws

On my alt account its:

1. 1st's (me) ST 2. 6th's ST 3. 2nd's ST 4. 1st's (me) ST 5. 7th's GK
This league is between 3 teams with +50 GDs

You must always remember these are player ratings and do not necessarily reflect team performance.

What is a ranking good for, if there is no prize?

at the moment its not even interesting to check topscorer, its not like you reciewe 10 tokens at season end


And Buffs: I still don't get keeper rating 5-6-6-6-7-6-6-6-8-7-7-7-7-6-6-6-6-6 if he never conceives a goal. A clean sheet should IMO bee near 7 every time +/- due to events

Well, ratings range from 3-6 afaik - 6-7 to me is turned up and did nothing wrong/nor much right or a balanced performance. Lets not assume that clean sheets are down to GKs - particularly if your DCs or DMCs are getting high raings.

My GK this season has 8x6, 3x8 and the rest 7s and in the league and Cup the team has conceded in almost every game. (I could show you GKs with 7, & 9s ) The fact is the only feedback you get on a GK is he made X number of saves - goals conceded might be relevant but only if its the GK's fault/he should have saved. Commentary gives, occasionally, feedback on smothers or interceptions, catches but they're not in the stats.

Saves are good? Well easy catches flapped out for CKs are bad imo.

My buzzwords for GKs are Opportunity and Expectation. The number of chances he has to do something and the expectation of success - we just don't have the information. The answer is in what we're not told, thats why I suggested the following, more in hope than expectation.

In Spain to try to fight for the best GK's trophy (Trofeo Zamora) a GK have to play 28 of the 38 League matches.

That's the 73,68% of the season and I think that 60% of the season in this case mean a good % ...

The good thing is that can help us to see good players that are not ST's and so, in a not very good teams.
I too miss a section of individual awards... :'(

But if I am the boss of Nordeus one day I will create a world competition as Ive suggested and everybody don't will miss these stuffs LOL

The most important aspect you must consider when looking at ratings is.....you do not have access to all the factoirs that generated the ratings. Commentary is a merely a small highlights package. Imo there is nothing wrong with GK or DMC ratings - or MCs for that matter.

yeah, it's hard to find a place in the world of t11, players like Neuer, Mascherano or Iniesta.
There is a work to do about the rates, specially in those positions (commentary, different statistics board for Def. & GK).

In my other team, Artemis in lv4, things are more weird


First is my ST,


second is also a ST from the 3rd team of the league


3rd is an MC- YES, finally


but he is playing as DC in this abandoned team


4th, a DC, also in a semi-abandoned team with the name Liverpool



and 5th, a GK, YES


also in a abandoned team - seems like he is playing alone against all the players of the opponent teams


So, if someone will buy some players of my league, he 'll think
"hey, this player has good rates "

2nd is my right winger and 3rd another ST from another team (as in 5th position)

and here at last a MC. He is a nordgen that I gave sa and it's working successfully from the left side (from the right side it's Nasmark, my ST, the specialist).
That's the only way a MC can be in top5.


too bad, my other ST is lack of assists and he isn't in top 5

I would like to see more than ONLY top 5.. for example top 20

Yeah, we could argue that some of the 'strange' lowbie players in crap teams getting high ratings demonstrates how ratings work. Ratings reflect personal performances - a GK in a crap team will get more opportunity to prove his ability and for example a good gk in a crap team suffering heavy defeats can get high ratings. Similarly a crap GK in a crap team will be cruelly exposed.

GoodGK quote "I might have lost 7 goals but none of them were my fault and it would've be 12 if not for me."
BadGK quote "I might be crap but nobody would notice if I was playing behind a much better defence/team."

The best thing about the new rankings criteria is it will expose the ones getting the better ratings consistently - giving you more ammunition to say "Ah, now I see ratings are reliable" or "this exposes how unreliable ratings are".

On my alt team there are both good and bad rating GKs in the bottom 6 teams including true GKs and those STs etc masquerading.

Yes, you 'right , and the problem isn't the top rated list.
The main issue is, that you (me-anyone ) cannot count on the rates/statistics of a player he wants to buy from the TM if he doesn't have the whole picture, meaning info of the team that sells this player.
It's so unrealistic to real football
like an agent goes to a team manager, show him a tape with a player he wants to sell, but doesn't tell him from which club is the player
