Supporting league opponents is cheating

Hi all,

I've found a disturbing trend in T11 of managers supporting lower teams against their closest rivals. Surely this shouldn't be allowed?

It's not like you see Arsene Wenger Cheering in the stands against Jose...

I've done it when going for a league title that was incredibly close, but most of the time, the team you are supporting is usually not strong enough to beat the person you need to lose, certainly if it is a case where both of you are going for the title.

I've also had to happen to me, but thankfully it made no difference. It's all part of the game. You take whatever advantages you can.

Agree Stevie, not cheating just part of the gameplay and perfectly legitimate. Adds to the fun and interest of the game.

Yep, it's there for a reason. It should be there, especially for players who are playing every day. It can be rewarding if it pays off.

i`v had this if a ( so called friend) keeps supporting my oppo then i`l delete BUT if we are both going for title i`l expect nothing less and what comes around goes around

A guy on my friends list did that this week. That is an auto-unfriend for me.

Another guy did that to me a few seasons ago, and I made it a point to support all his opponents the rest of the season.

I must admit here, that I have, by misstake, clicked the wrong team. And as far as I know you can't change it once clicked

You should be able to at least change support?

I've done that inadvertently too. Then prayed my friend didn't lose !

Its not a disturbing trend. Its always been that way. You are given the option to support v rivals so its up to you to choose.

If it bothers you and you've not experienced it yet then wait until your rival is part of a T11 group and the massed ranks of supporters descend upon you. >.<

PC scored in 1st minute, and were running rampant until the 10th minute, when an ! appeared next to spectators - all this lot had arrived and apart from an 71st minute goal which was a direct free-kick, PC didn't get a look in...
